Bun Bo Hue Dong Ba

Great & delicious foods, awesome people, nice atmosphere, and a variety of good choices. The moment we walked in, the gentleman who was working here was very hospitable and very accommodating. Will definitely come back here. We just learned that this restaurant has been in this plaza for many years now. I have tried Bo Ne from different restaurants, but this is the best I have tasted so far. Will come back soon.

3rd time here, I had the bun rieu,again, but it is really good! Didn't look like much, but that little bowl was a good-sized portion. Comes with a lot of veggies, too!

I usually come here for bun bo hue! BUT don't let the server trick you when ordering. Today, the server kept asking me to order the Bun bo Hue Dac biet Speacial and I saw on the menu that they only display the price $15.90 for Bun Bo Hue and the Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet Special is not displayed on the menu or anywhere in the store. I assumed that maybe they call it different way. At the end it costs 19.90 when checking out. The difference is adding few pieces of meatballs to the bowl. Be aware!

Went here for breakfast and was surprised they had all of my favorite foods: Banh Beo, Banh Bot Loc, Banh Nam, Bun Bo Hue, and to top it off Sugarcane Juice! The server, gentleman that wears a hat, delivered the best service anyone could ever ask for. The next time I come back to San Jose, this will probably be my forever lunch spot. Pricing is good, if I could give more than 5 stars I would! #1 Hue Food Spot, here's that place!

Even though I was born in the city of Saigon, I love me some Northern (Hue) food! I enjoy the appetizer more than the main courses because it's small, light and quick to eat. I found this Northern restaurant, Bun Bo Hue in a Vietnamese strip mall off of Senter Road in San Jose, CA. I got my favorite appetizers, Banh Beo, Banh Bo Loc, Banh Ram It and Banh Nam. They all came with fish sauce on the side with slices of jalapeños. Luckily for me, the jalapeños were not that spicy so I was able to bite into them with each of the appetizers. I really like this restaurant because everything is always fresh. The food is flavorful and always on point. The shrimp taste fresh and clean. Every thing has carb heavy, but it was good and delicious. I definitely recommend checking this place out. To the naked eye, this restaurant is not visually appealing but the food is the best. If you want to take a date, I would recommend going to thier Silver Creek location. Much more cleaner looking and very modern.
