Buzz & Bites Katy

Nice restaurant for a quick (or longer) bite to share with family and friends. The matcha frappe is really good but it takes a little bit to be made from scratch - not a complain. If you struggle opening the main door as I did, just try harder. Will definitely come back.

The food was okay, nothing that really stood out but still decent enough to enjoy. The coffee came with a cute design on top which made it fun to look at though the taste itself was fairly average. The muffin was enjoyable but not especially memorable. Overall it was a pleasant enough experience but nothing that would make me rush back.

Tried out Buzz and Bites and it was such a cute little find! ☕🌿 The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with plants and the sweetest little accessories tucked all around the space that make it feel really homey. Their coffee was great, and the menu had a lot of really good options for both lunch and brunch (which I always appreciate when I can’t decide what I’m in the mood for). Service was a bit on the slower side, but it honestly seemed like they were a little short-handed. Our waitress was super down-to-earth and friendly though, which made the experience feel relaxed and comfortable rather than rushed. Overall, it’s a charming spot to sit, sip some coffee, and enjoy a laid-back brunch or lunch. Definitely worth stopping by if you like cozy cafés with good vibes. 💛

As someone who frequents the Buzz and Bites in Spring Branch since it is right around the corner from my house, I was excited when my job moved into a new office just one street over from the Katy location. I had been watching this one being built for a while and was especially curious to try it since this location has a full bar, which adds a really fun twist to the traditional coffee shop concept. I stopped in for lunch and decided to sit out on the patio which ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, bright, and inviting with a nice open feel that makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in and everything moved quickly and smoothly. I ordered the guava mimosa and it was SO good. Light, refreshing, and honestly the perfect daytime drink. For food I had the chicken avocado wrap and substituted the chips for truffle fries and both were SOOOOO good. The wrap was fresh, warm, and packed with flavor and the truffle fries were absolutely worth the upgrade. I love that this location keeps the cozy Buzz and Bites feel while also leaning into a slightly more elevated vibe with the bar and patio seating. Between the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the great food and drinks, I can already tell this will become a regular lunch spot now that it is so close to our office.
