Car Fix Renton Automotive

Came here for an oil change based on the great reviews, and everyone was right! Booking an appointment online was incredibly convenient. Service was friendly and quick, I wasn’t upsold on extra services, and they even included a free vacuum. It is an honest shop with fair prices, and we will definitely be bringing our other car back here.

I had a great experience at Car Fix Renton Automotive! Ri and Jim were incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived for a car inspection. They took the time to explain the issues with my vehicle in an easy-to-understand way, which I really appreciated. It never felt overwhelming. It felt like honest and straightforward guidance. I ended up needing my brakes and front axle replaced, and I truly valued their transparency and care throughout the process. The brakes have a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers' safety and want you to feel confident getting back on the road. The customer service was excellent, and I'm grateful for their honesty and professionalism. I highly recommend them!

Friendly and trustworthy shop! I called Car Fix this morning for a last-minute brake job, and Ri was so friendly, honest, and eager to help. He was transparent about the price as well as informative to the fact that my brakes would not have a warranty since I bought the pads/rotors myself. Really appreciated that! They got my car in right away — I dropped it off around 10:30 and had it back before 2! The price was fair, the service was amazing, and I felt really well taken care of. My brakes feel great, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Car Fix to everyone I know!

Amazing work. Diagnostic was on point… resolved issues another reputable mechanic wasn’t capable of doing with German Engineering. I trust them to handle another major repair that will keep my automobile running for another 150k miles and passing this to my teenage daughter to keep her safe. Very honest and straight to the point… no bloat to quote for unnecessary repairs or maintenance. I highly recommend Car Fix. They go above and beyond to serve clients. Jim and Martin are top tier and Ri’s customer service is beyond reproach.

I brought my Ford Ranger to Car Fix Automotive after it started jerking heavily between gear shifts. They diagnosed the issue quickly. It turned out the transmission needed to be replaced, and they took the time to explain that this is actually a common problem with this model, which I had no idea about. Unfortunately, I was past my Ford warranty, but the team went above and beyond to find a replacement transmission that is known to be more reliable than the original. They initially estimated about two weeks for the work, but they finished it in roughly half that time. The pricing was clear from the beginning, with no surprises on parts or labor. The truck now shifts smoothly, and I feel much more confident driving it. What really stood out was the follow-up: about a week after I picked up the truck, they reached out to see how everything was running. That kind of post-service care is rare.
