Chang Yai Thai Noodle & Cafe

The food was excellent, from the appetizers to the entrees everything was great! The atmosphere was pleasant and chill and actually a bit relaxing for me! The service was great and the owner and staff were very attentive and friendly! We will be back as this is a great Thai restaurant that takes less than 30minutes to get to! Hopefully I'll leave room for some mango sticky rice next!

Great spot for authentic Thai food right here in Houston! The chicken Pad Thai was excellent — flavorful, perfectly cooked noodles, and just the right balance of sweet and savory. I ordered it Thai hot, and it definitely brought the heat in the best way. The coconut soup, also Thai hot, was rich, creamy, and full of bold flavor. I also tried the beef jerky bites — they were okay, but not quite as impressive as the main dishes. Overall, a solid place for real Thai flavors and generous portions Not Sure who Gemima is but I did not eat pork ribs

They have a happy hour special with a cute little bird cage that the appetizers are on. The menu is extensive with lots of options. I tried the honey duck and that was a bit sweet in its own I give it 3 stars. They had so many different desserts and I tried the jelly cake which is lychee and coconut. It reminded me of the jelly from bubble tea. I’d like to come back and try other things.

My best friend and I had dinner here last night and oh my goodness. Neither of us have ever had Thai food before and this was unbelievably delicious. We started with the appetizer! We got the bird cage full of things to try. Then we got the Massaman Curry with chicken and shrimp. And the Drunken noodles. Both were to die for. For dessert we got the Mango Rice Pudding and I about cried from happiness lol. Please go try this place! You will not regret it. Highly highly recommend the massaman curry!!!

First time there as we happened to be in the area. Great food, large portions, hot and fresh. Lots and lots of choices and everything looked so good. Only issue thats not their fault is the parking lot is small. With two other food places next door, there is not enough parking during lunchtime 11:30am-12pm. I almost left because there was no where to park other than next door at taco bell or behind the building at Academy. If you go early around 11 or after 1, you should be good.
