CN Catering

We worked with Andrew at CN Catering for our wedding and cannot recommend them enough! From the menu options to the tasting to the rental selection to the day of, Andrew and his team went above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests were saying it's the best wedding food they've ever had! The bartenders were awesome and kept everything moving smoothly. They handled our allergies and preferences like the pros they are. My husband and I did a private dinner during cocktail hour and Andrew made sure everything was still coursed and that we had a plate of our passed appetizers to try. They even had a mini olive oil dispenser brought to us for our bread! CN truly is the best and you will not regret choosing them for your event for even a second.

Update to the owner: While we are glad that you and your company will be working to improve your future communication, it does nothing to solve our current problem. Your company did not communicate that the alcohol we provided would be opened in full, regardless of actual usage during service. As such, our review is comprehensive of our entire interaction with CN Catering and is not simply focused on the food and drinks you provide. Your attitude and perceived disinterest in finding a resolution is ultimately what earned you and your business a one-star review. We believe a resolution is still possible and our lines of communication are always open. My husband and I chose CN Catering for our wedding and ultimately ended up very disappointed with both their bartending service and their handling of our concerns afterward. In hindsight, we wish we had held the bartending staff, Andrew, Michael, and his superior to a much tighter standard, as the level of action and accountability ultimately did not meet ours. Along with a plated dinner (which we enjoyed), we paid CN Catering for bartending services but elected to provide our own alcohol. Providing your own alcohol is common for weddings because unopened excess can typically be returned to recoup some of the cost. Unfortunately, this concept was either disregarded or not respected by CN Catering’s bartending staff and management. The day after our wedding, we found nineteen opened, full liquor bottles left over. That number does not even include all opened bottles — only the ones that were still approximately 80% full or more. When we questioned management about why so many excess bottles had been opened, we were told it was to “have quick service,” that it was “what they do at every event,” and that they had “never had this complaint before.” That explanation completely missed the issue. CN Catering can open excess of their own product at their discretion because they can carry leftovers into future events. We, as the clients supplying and purchasing the alcohol ourselves, do not have that luxury. Had this operational approach been communicated to us beforehand, we would have purchased and supplied alcohol very differently. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability afterward. We first raised our concerns on 4/15/26, provided photos and documentation on 4/22/26, were not able to speak with management by phone until 5/15/26, and were not given a final decision until 5/20/26. Despite repeated communication, no meaningful resolution was offered, and they simply stated that it was a normal amount of bottles to have opened. We were simply asking for partial reimbursement for bottles that can no longer be returned. We cannot recommend CN Catering moving forward. If you are considering hiring them, ask detailed questions about how all aspects of catering are handled, communicate expectations explicitly in writing, and do not assume unopened inventory will remain unopened.

We contracted with CN Catering for our wedding this past weekend and I have absolutely no complaints! We worked with Gabrielle for the catering and venue (Howell & Dragon), she was a rock star! We had melt in your mouth smoked brisket, loaded mashed potatoes, and green beans. People we wanting more. We had bartending services as well, opting to supply our own alcohol. We delivered the cases of beer cold and they kept them that way. The only downfall was that a few of the boxes lost integrity and wouldn't stay closed; I couldn't return them. That's ok, it's summertime in Texas, I'll have a BBQ and it'll get drank. All the unused liquor was returned without any issues. Our bartender, wish I got his name, was amazing and took great care of everyone. When it was time for Gabrielle to leave, she introduced me to the staff that would be taking over. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and helped with what ever we needed. I will recommend CN Catering to anyone and everyone that will listen, you won't be disappointed.

We worked with Amber at CN Catering for our wedding day, and she was so easy to work with! She is so friendly, organized, and helpful throughout our planning process. We received so many compliments on how great the food tasted! CN is very organized, prompt, and efficient on the day of, and they were so accommodating to our guests that had dietary restrictions with very tasty alternative options from our main meal. I also really appreciated how the majority of the rentals were handled through them and the venue (The Century Hall), which made the planning process so much easier and less stressful. I highly recommend working with them for your catering and rental needs!

CN is a beast! In the best sort of way. My mom found this company on google and as we began mentioning that we were considering them to other vendors their eyes got big and seemed like it was very much the company to go with. Needless to say our expectations were high when we met with them and they did not disappoint. However their group tasting was the major selling point. It was incredible! Great presentation, incredible service, but the best bart of course was the food. We were ready to booked them, but my fiancé and I did a private tasting as well just to narrow down our selections from their massive menu. Everything we tried was fantastic. Their wide selection and totally customizable options were so helpful. They were able to do a custom meal for one of our guests who had food sensitivities in addition to providing a separate kids Buffett for all our tiny guests. They were so great to work with. A little on the pricier side, but if you want a smooth wedding, incredible service and even more incredible food for your guests, then this is the company for you. 100% worth it.
