I am Asian American and have been eating mochi my entire life. Crystal's Bakery has forever changed how I think and feel about Mochi. Crystal's Mochi is like a heavenly cloud of fruit and cream that melts in your mouth. Gorgeous, silky soft texture unlike anything. It's not too sweet but addicting. Store-bought, rubbery chewy mochi has been downgraded to gummi status after eating Crystal's handmade mochi. I also had mochi doughnuts, mung bean smoothie and plain sticky rice. Perfect Asian flavors that remind me of the homeland. Everything excellent! It's a tiny shop and the place was jam packed with lines during our entire visit, for good reason. I drove over an hour to get to Crystal's Bakery. It was no sacrifice. It is absolutely worth it. I will be making the trip again and many times more.

The drink menu is equally impressive, with a full lineup of milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty boba options presented on bright boards and screens that make it easy to explore something new. The purple rice and taro coconut milk tea stands out as one of the best boba drinks I’ve had—creamy and comforting, with the added texture of purple rice and perfectly cooked boba pearls that turn it into a dessert-like treat. Despite its small footprint, Crystal Bakery manages to feel inviting rather than crowded. There are a few tables inside and a couple outside, giving you the option to linger over your drink or pastry while watching traffic move through the busy intersection. Details like the piano tucked inside add a creative, whimsical touch, suggesting this is a space meant for enjoyment and inspiration, not just a quick grab-and-go stop. Crystal Bakery is the kind of place you visit once and immediately start planning your next trip back—a cozy corner bakery where the mochi selection is extensive, the boba drinks are next-level, and the atmosphere makes each visit feel a little bit special.

Best mochi ever. It’s really fresh and stretchy. A lot of flavor to choose from. I really love the matcha cream, which has really strong taste of matcha. But the whole mochi with only cream is too much so it’s better to pair it with mochi. …

The cream mochi here is delicious! You can taste how fresh they are and the texture is super soft. My favorite was Oreo. I also got the Boston Sky Boba drink that tasted as good as it looks!
