Cutloose

I cannot say enough good things about this gal! It started with my daughter here from college needing a good & specific haircut. We found Cutloose, then Yasmin and made the drive all the way from Tomball. WORTH. IT. Later when I needed a cut, I chose Cutloose also - because of Yasmin. Today's cut was probably my best ever. She listened to what I wanted and suggested things that made it perfect!! Thanks so much! Highly recommend.

Edit - After taking photos and comparing the layers on each side, the hair is actually not even. Originally thought the cut was ok at least. It's been a few weeks since I've been here and I debated leaving this review but I feel I should just be honest about my experience. I came in for a cut as I had just gotten extensions and wanted some long face framing layers. I booked on their website for a long cut which costs extra since I have 24 inch extensions although I do also have quite thin hair, even with the extensions. To start, I showed up for my 4:15 appointment about 10 minutes early and was told i'm checking in for my "4:30" appointment, I did not say anything because I thought maybe they did it on purpose to ensure guests arrive on time. 4:45 rolls around and I still have not been picked up and the front desk staff is just acting as if i'm not even there. I finally walk up to the desk to inquire and discover that the stylist ended up being out that morning and appointments had to be moved around to accommodate her. I did not receive a call or message regarding this or asking if that worked for my schedule. As I was discussing, the assistant finally came to get me to wash my hair. I kept a positive attitude because I wanted my hair to be done right and I didn't want to create an awkward situation. The cut itself took 5 minutes max and then she rushed through my blowout while yawning and continuously mentioning how tired she was. Since she only had to cut a few strands of hair at the front, the back my hair was still very wet and she did nothing to comb it out before she began yanking the round brush through my hair, even making a comment about how tangled it is yet still did nothing to try to be gentle or get out the knots except yank through them with the round brush. Considering I have extensions, it put so much tension on my hair and the tip, that my head was sore the next day and difficult to brush as it created more pain when I pulled on them. I don't think it was worth the price, especially having to pay extra for a service that didn't need the extra service time

Kennedy did a wonderful job with my hair. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I appreciated her attention to detail and professional approach. I left feeling refreshed and very happy with the results. The salon was welcoming, and I look forward to my next visit.

Jeff did a fantastic job! Best haircut and beard trim I’ve had in a very long time! I will definitely be back! He really took the time to talk to me and have a back and forth conversation about my hair goals along with what was working and what needed improvement. I have very thick, curly/wavy hair that I’m trying to embrace but needed help with creating dimension and style instead of just having bushy hair. He also did an awesome job on my beard. Really took his time and lots of attention to detail. I feel like he accomplished all my beard and hair goals today and I look forward to future appointments!

Yasmin was wonderful. She offered helpful suggestions for styling my hair and walked me through her thought process. She is incredibly knowledgeable and it shows in her work. She provided excellent customer service. I felt comfortable and genuinely feel that this is the best haircut and style I’ve gotten. THANK YOU!
