CVS Pharmacy

The in store experience is always great at the Josey/Keller Springs location. The issue I have is the answering service on CVS mobile. It ask you to say English and then continues to speak Spanish. It did this to me 4 times. It’s got nothing to do with prejudice or racism but we are in America which is predominantly English speaking. My mom was Hispanic and when she came to America she learned to speak English. It’s just very frustrating trying to communicate via answering service when it’s not letting you speak.

CVS employees did an excellent job but ProAct and United Healthcare are in the financial business and do not try to help it’s members.

I always receive fast, friendly, and efficient service from this CVS pharmacy location. The staff takes wonderful care of me. They know exactly what I need and pick up my prescriptions very quickly. I wish every business I deal with was as good as this pharmacy.

This staff is unsure how to follow directions, read notes, or listen. Every month my birth control auto fills and every month I have to call them to change it because my dr has “BRAND SPECIFIC” notated on the paper script I had to bring in to ensure I get the correct prescription. I get violently ill from the generic. They always tell me the dr didn’t notate it so I spoke with my dr and she told me she had it notated in the electronically sent script thus the reason for the hand written. Then I usually get to wait a few days while they order it and have to wait for it to arrive. Now today my orthopedic surgeon sent in a script that has to be approved from my insurance so I called CVS and left a message to just cancel the insurance for this particular script and I’ll pay cash. I will get reimbursed from my insurance for this at a later date. This was at noon. Then at 4 I call again and leave the same message because the other script called in was ready. I should have gone to get it informed them of the message I left and waited for them to fill it, but I did not. Well now they’re closed and I get a text that a prescription requires my attention, and I need to call. Well no one is there to answer, and I don’t get to get any sleep tonight because these people do not care to call me back, listen to the email, follow instructions. All I want is a little bit of attention paid, an anti inflammatory for sleep would be so helpful tonight and I’m sure these employees would as well should the shoe be on the other foot. We have all allowed empathy to be traded for selfishness and ego and it’s real king starting to piss me off

This particular pharmacy location is my favorite in the area! I switched to this CVS location solely because of how wonderful the pharmacy staff is. They get things filled quickly and are super nice which hasn’t always been the case with other CVS locations I’ve dealt with. I’ll go out of my way to go to this particular store verses others in the area.
