Miss Jae offers professional services at her salon starting with her website that gives you upfront pricing and available appointment times. If you’re new, before your appointment she inquires by text the condition of your hair. Once you arrive, she escorts you to her private salon styling room where she provides an additional consultation and recommended services. I thoroughly enjoyed having my hair done by Miss Jae.

Too expensive Jae is very knowledgeable about hair and I enjoyed speaking to her during my appointment. My hair is sometimes difficult to manage and I have a hard time caring for it so I wanted to come to a professional. I booked my appointment for 9am but due to unforeseen circumstances we started a bit late. The salon became busy that morning and there was only one person servicing everyone which is stressful I understand but upon detangling my hair she recommended that I do a taming (straightening) treatment for my hair because I was "holding everyone up". ". This comment hurt my feelings. I was taken aback by the end pricing because I didn't realize a trim was $70 and deep conditioning was $65 and these were considered addons along with the blowout and braid down I already got. I wish I was verbally told the extra cost when I asked for the two services because the website was not very clear to me. I think it would've made a huge difference. I asked for a breakdown of the price which she was willing to walk me through but she commented that she should've charged me a detangling fee which I don’t think is mentioned anywhere on the website. I do think she is a very skilled stylist but these comments made me feel shame towards my hair which should have no place in a black owned hair salon. I ended up paying, thanking her and leaving to be respectful but I felt very sad afterwards. I would recommend her as a stylist but I would also recommend clearer communication upfront when it comes to pricing and more sensitivity when discussing hair texture.

Diva styles got me all the way together! She transformed my uneven hair into the perfect pixie! I love my new look and will be making another appointment very soon!

I am relatively new to the area. I spent years looking for a reliable, professional, knowledgeable stylist. Either they had unscrupulous characters loitering, or they canceled; they didn't listen to my desires or bother with the service. Jenetta (may be spelled incorrectly) was a godsend. I received a keratin treatment and J answered all of my questions. She was thorough and gentle. She provided what I needed to do for my next steps and got me all the way together. I will return because she did a wonderful job.

The salon & spa owner is the consummate professional and she values her clients wholeheartedly. I admire her dedication and commitment to her profession. She stays abreast on the progression of the beauty industry and continually invests in herself and business. The hair care products used are top quality and my hair is the healthiest it has ever been and it’s chemical free. The atmosphere of the salon is modern and very classy. I appreciate the fact that she schedules her appointments in a manner that allows her to expedite my services promptly. Definitely a 5-Star Experience!!!
