Dr. Christi C. Cheng, MD

Overall, I felt that Christi Cheng was uncaring and unprofessional, clearly not interested in helping her patients. I do not recommend seeing her if you want respectful, compassionate care. She made me feel terrible for coming here. She should not be working as a doctor if she is tired of her job and hates to see patients coming in, you will see it in her face and how she talks to you. - I mentioned having leg pain and that I don’t know what to do. She shrugged her shoulders and said, “I don’t know, you can still walk, so you’re fine. - I mentioned I am traveling abroad ( I told her the country) I was told to check with my doctor if I need anything before going. She was like I don’t know, what do you want? I said, what do you recommend? any vaccinations, malaria pills?. Isn’t she a doctor? What is she doing there? - I said I am gay. She said why are you even coming this far, there should be more doctors in your area. I’m like because none of them are accepting new patients. I felt like telling her, and unfortunately you were the only one available and you suck as a doctor but I was trying hard to be respectful with her who does not deserve to be called a doctor. I wasted 2 hours drive for this. I am very disappointed.

If I could give zero stars, I would. One of the most disappointing medical experiences I’ve ever had. Dr. Christi Cheng rushed through my visit in under 10 minutes, barely examined me, and completely ignored my concerns. I was visibly unwell, but she seemed uninterested and impatient — clearly just trying to move on to the next patient. To make it worse, her office refuses to work with insurance and keeps sending full charges directly to us, with no explanation. The visit felt like a money grab — no care, no solution, just a bill. It’s obvious that patient care is not her focus. She seems more invested in side businesses like cosmetic procedures than in practicing real medicine. If you value your health and your time, avoid this clinic.

I highly recommended Dr. Christi Cheng if you are looking for a smart and helpful physician. My first visit with her was probably overwhelming...I had a lot of undiagnosed symptoms since 2017, I was a mess. Lol She was able to prioritize which symptoms needed a specialist, referred me, and yes, those referrals actually called me to schedule. She also ordered the standard fluids tests and even an x-ray. I had been trying to work with physicians prior to Dr. Cheng for months. She accomplished more in that one initial visit than anyone I had worked with. Because of her smart and quick actions, I was diagnosed quickly. As I progress through my medical journey I realized that Dr. Cheng is special. There aren't enough physicians like her. I really appreciate her time and effort.

I really liked this doctor to begin with. I had spinal fusion surgery five years ago. I fell off my horse which was a fall of about 4 feet, I could hardly walk and I had to do all the footwork to get an MRI done. She doesn’t listen because her head is down always typing. I was sent for an MRI and a ultrasound scan on my liver. It’s been two weeks and I haven’t heard one peep from her office. I had to call today to ask what the results were of my test., Just to be told that I need to make an appointment. In my opinion it’s not about the patient it’s about the money that she collects from our insurance. My husband and I will be seeking a new family doctor. I’m glad you went in the beauty business Dr. Cheng but I would think your focus should be on taking care of your patients which includes follow up of their tests. Why should I have to call you to get my results. You should have called me and told me that my results were in and What those results were, Whether you put them down on paper and mail them to me or at least have one of your staff members call me. What in the world are you thinking. Good luck

Do not go to this place unless you want to be ripped off. Doctor is only seeing you for money. They will bill you for every little thing such as a phone call with your lab results in which you already know the results as you can view it electronically. They will refuse to send your prescription to the pharmacy unless you talk to the doctor on the phone about your lab results. Therefore they can now bill you for hundreds of dollars. Moreover with the pandemic, they are exploiting telemedicine and over billing you. Billing department refuse to correct the overcharge and claim it is correct (FYI, there were more appropriate billing codes they should have used which will cost the patients less). Not only that, they do not bother opening their office for office visit post pandemic and yet they are billing you the same if not more than an office visit. First visit was already worrisome as they messed up spelling my name when they send my lab slip to the labs. Big red flag for the doctors office. I emailed them to get it corrected. What was worst was after they notified me they had corrected my name in their system was my name was spelt incorrectly again when I went to pick up my prescription. But get this, the spelling was different from how it was spelt on my lab slip. Mind you that name is not complicated or long. To top it off, when I had the call with Dr. Cheng to go over the lab results, she did not tell me that she stopped the prescription for a vitamin. I only found out when I was picking up my prescription. I called Dr. Cheng's office to check why it was not refilled and a nurse told me that the doctor should have told me on the call going over my labs that I do not need to continue taking the vitamin. Fast forward to the next time I needed a refill for a medication, they would not refill my meds until I had a call with the doctor (again, so they call bill you). When I had the call with Dr Cheng, she asked if I am still taking the vitamin. I was like no bc you stopped the refill and your office told me I don't need to take it anymore. Dr. Cheng response was like I never said so. If I don't refill the vitamin, you could have purchased them over the counter and continue to take them. If I was told I do not need to take the vitamin, why would I go and buy the vitamin and take them. All in all, horrible doctor and practice. Go elsewhere for real care.
