Dr. Dave Liu

Dr. Liu is amazing! I injured my foot two weeks before a race and after a week of no improvement I came to see him - I really thought i was going to have to cancel the run. After two treatments just days before the race, I was able to run the half marathon with no pain! He was also very nice and gentle with his exam, explanation and treatments - he has a lovely bedside manner. I am thankful for his help!

Dr. David Liu is the best acupuncturist and doctor there! He is not only an MD in medicine, from but comes from a long line of doctors/acupuncturists, specializing in his fields of passion (fertility and pain management). I was recommended to him from a friend, who told me that he was truly a magician. I went to David Liu for a various of reasons, wishing to focus on inflammation due to arthritis, chronic fatigue and insomnia. He is treating me and without a doubt, he lives up to his name and is the wizard with needles and medicine. He is also an expert with pain management and for all you out there with sciatica, something I have also had to battle, his treatments will help alleviate the pain and he is most gracious within his times he extends to those in need. David Liu is, in my opinion, one of the kindest and most honest practitioners out there. He is thorough, understands truly the mechanism of the human body and was born to do this! He is a natural and intuitive doctor and I am truly grateful to have found this amazing place. In addition, he is a very good listener and addresses what he feels the patient needs and wants most. Dr. Liu is GOD SENT!!!!!!!!!!! I was introduced to him by another really great acupuncturist in SF - he sent me to dr Liu because I had an uneven facial bone structure from a car accident. He said that Dr. Liu would be able to do an even better job at helping me. A month and a half later, my nose is straighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought I would have to live with a crooked nose for the rest of my life but now I have a straighter nose and my bone structure is more symmetrical!!! He also helped fix my stiff neck and shoulder. Thanks to Dr. Liu I am a whole new person with a straighter nose, symmetrical face, and AMAZING POSTURE!!!

I was feeling sick (nauseous with a headache) and I felt worse laying in his treatment bed. After the treatment I was still not feeling well. Unlike other acupuncturists I did not get a needle point on my forehead to relax me. I did not fall asleep (maybe he wants me out of his office early). Overall, I was cold because the windows were open. I did not get a blanket. I did not get any heating lamps and the pillow was uncomfortable. Normally, I remember to ask for these things but I was feeling so terrible that I forgot. I think this was my worse experience EVER at an acupuncture clinic. I know he’s a professor but I’ve had much better experience and outcome at another clinic but he was available

Dr Liu is a miracle doctor. I was introduced by another acupuncture doctor in NYC. I twisted my knee from skiing. My left knee was extremely painful when I walking and I couldn’t walk properly for two weeks. I was so worried at that time. After one treatment from Dr. Liu, I could walk and take stairs with no problem immediately. What a miracle! I couldn’t be more grateful and happy!
