Dr. Quynh Chi Dinh, MD

In my personal opinion, Dr. Dinh is PRO-women. I HIGHLY recommend her. Shortly after I moved to Dallas, I noticed heavy bleeding and severe cramping that I brought to a previous NPs attention and all she recommended was I increase taking Ibuprofen. I switched insurance, started seeing Dr. Dinh and immediately my concerns were addressed and I felt heard. We learned that I had uterine fibroids. She gave me treatment options then we decided to move forward with an ablation. This was successful until my fibroids grew back and my painful menstrual cycles returned. After, I decided to move forward with a full hysterectomy in which she fully supported because she understood my concerns about pain and quality of life meant more to me than having children. I told her I was ok with not birthing children and she understood. No pressure. No pushback. I've been a hysterSister two years. Consider Dr. Dinh. The only con to report is pricing. The fees are different between clinic and hospital. She has a clinic inside the hospital, and the required fees aren't always explained clearly.

I am deeply appalled by the treatment I received from Dr. Quynh Chi Dinh at Dallas OBGYN PA (Medical City Dallas). I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and classified as a high-risk patient due to my age (38). I have been a diligent, consistent patient at this practice, attending all scheduled visits on 4/2/2026, 4/16/2026, 5/4/2026, 5/14/2026, and 6/11/2026. On July 9, 2026, I arrived for my 6th prenatal appointment—a crucial check-up meant to monitor my baby’s growth. Although I had previously signed their future delivery prepayment contract two appointments prior when they first showed it to me, I explicitly explained to the staff upon arriving for this specific July 9 appointment that due to a recent change in my financial capability, I could no longer afford the high upfront payments required by that specific plan. I asked if there were alternative billing options or modified payment ways. Instead of trying to work out a solution, the staff went back to consult directly with Dr. Dinh. Rather than showing an ounce of medical ethics or compassion, Dr. Dinh personally made the decision to refuse to see me. I had already fully paid for all of my prior prenatal appointments as of June 27, 2026, meaning I had absolutely zero outstanding debt with this office for the care I had already received. Despite this established history, because I requested to alter a future delivery payment plan, she completely withheld my scheduled, essential check-up and dropped me as a patient on the spot, telling me to find another doctor. Worse yet, I explicitly told them I urgently needed to be seen because I was experiencing symptoms of bacterial vaginosis and an ongoing yeast infection that Dr. Dinh had been unable to clear up for over three months (since April). Instead of treating an active infection or ensuring my high-risk pregnancy was stable, they left me stranded. I suffered a severe, traumatizing panic attack right there in the office lobby—unable to breathe or stop crying out of sheer terror for my safety and the safety of my baby. The hospital and consultation room cameras will fully verify this distress. To personally turn away a high-risk, second-trimester patient with active infection symptoms over future billing arrangements—leaving an expectant mother abruptly stranded on the street with zero transition time or emergency coverage—is dangerous, unprofessional, and a severe violation of a physician's duty to patient safety. I have filed formal safety complaints against Dr. Dinh with both the Texas Medical Board and the executive leadership of Medical City Dallas for patient abandonment. Avoid this physician at all costs; profit is clearly her only priority.

Dr Dinh is an amazing doctor, she is the best at what she does. I really loved the professionalism her entire staff showed and how Dr. Dinh took care of my wife during her pregnancy. She made sure that my wife got everything she needed throughout the pregnancy and post birth. Marisela was the best assistant, its clear shes the right hand man.I highly recommend using her, you wont be disappointed.

Over the years the staff has been a little difficult to deal with. I was so shocked at how my appointment was handled. When I called to schedule my appointment. I asked if I could schedule my IUD removal and if I was due for my yearly exam. Tasha never educated me on appointment policies. Tasha scheduled me for an IUD removal. When I arrived for my appointment, I paid for the IUD removal and waited 40 minutes in the lobby. When the assistant called me to the back for vitals, she notified me that I would have to have a yearly exam before removing the IUD and would have to schedule an IUD removal. I was frustrated at this point and told her I would just reschedule. I’m getting my refund back and asking about who scheduled my appointment because this was very unprofessional. The scheduling coordinator was very helpful and apologized for the inconvenience. As I was walking out, Tasha stopped me in the lobby and gave me this speech about her making the appointment and ME having a misunderstanding. I told her that she should just admit her mistakes and move on. As she went on, publicly and unprofessionally in the lobby, I decided to walk away and remove myself from that situation. The Drs are amazing, but again, the staff can improve a lot. The Assistant looked overwhelmed and over it. The manager was very unprofessional discussing an issue with me in the lobby was the cherry on top for me to remove myself from that practice. It is not worth me driving an hour to be dealing with this.

I came out of my appointment extremely frustrated, hence writing to review to warn others. Office and staff: waited 45mins despite having filled out forms online the night before and was 5 minutes ahead of appointment time. Waited an additional 15mins for intake nurse to ask me questions. Her back faced me most of the time so I could not hear her questions, she jotted down wrong information, and generally looked like she hates her job. I told her about my concern of a growing fibroadenoma and repeated back to me the wrong body part! Dr. Dinh: seemed nice at first and spoke to me very quickly. She performed a fairly quick Pap smear with hasty communication of what she was about to do. She noticed a polyps but said I’d have to come back to remove it since this is just an annual check up. Then, she measured my fibroadenoma and was surprised that the chip and biopsy scar is on the same side (it’s common sense). Without telling me my follow up, she left the room. I had a total of maybe 10mins with her. I’ve had Pap smears done in the past and doctors usually ask if I’m okay with them removing the polyps while they are already examining. Making an additional $100 with another appointment seems to be more important to Dr. Dinh than the comfort of her patient. I feel like I’m cramping more after this pap smear than previous ones performed by other doctors. STEER AWAY from this office. No one looks happy or care, not even the main doctor who I saw stomping by the hallway.
