Elegant Nails

I just moved to Kent and needed to find a new nail salon. I am so glad this was the first one I went to as it is now my permanent go to salon. Mia was amazing and paid attention to detail and wasn't daunted by what I wanted done to my nails. The pedicure was top-notch and I really enjoyed that they actually gave a good massage. Most places don't do that anymore. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible experience at another nail salon and was looking for somewhere local to my friend to go to fix it. I found Elegant Nails on Google and after seeing a bunch of glowing reviews I was sold. I ended up going to Mia and she impressed me immediately. Very knowledgeable and wanted what was best for my nails. If I was local I would be going back and this is probably going to be my friend’s new salon as well! Thank you Elegant Nails!

I booked an appointment for my girlfriend, it’s her second time getting acrylic nails in general and the second time was perfect. As a guy I would usually sit in the waiting chairs but they let me sit by where she was sitting to see the process on a time they had where chairs were disposable for business hours. Mia was perfect, very direct and kind. I found this shop on the internet, checked reviews and found this name more through the social feed, though I appreciate all the ladies who work there. All were very kind 🙏🏾 I look forward to seeing this shop more and its location. The work it takes with the result is always the best part to see. Thank you.

Zero stars if I could. I went in to have my previous dip powder removed. The technician cut my nails short and then started forcefully prying them off with a plastic nail tip instead of soaking them. It was extremely painful, but when I asked why she wasn't using acetone, she snapped at me, told me not to tell her how to do her job, and claimed my nails were "too old." When I expressed discomfort, she doubled down and was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Because of the discomfort, I canceled the full set I originally came in for and asked for just a manicure. She rudely suggested another technician will do it. To top it off, they overcharged me $15 for removal after quoting $10 over the phone, which wasn’t even finished!!. Ripping off dip powder destroys natural nails, and the disrespect here was shocking. I will never return.
