Elite Spa & Nail - Arlington

I had a great experience here for my own manicure and pedicure. The quality of my gel manicure and pedicure was excellent, and I was very happy with the results. Unfortunately, my daughter’s experience was very different. Before making the appointment, I specifically called to ask if the salon offered Gel-X nails because my daughter has eczema on her hands and cannot tolerate the many chemicals used with acrylic (solar) or dip nails. I explained that Gel-X was important because it uses fewer products and is generally a better option for her skin. I was assured that the salon could do Gel-X. This appointment was especially important because my daughter was getting her nails done for her wedding. When we arrived, I explained everything again to the technician, Wendy. It quickly became obvious that she was not experienced with Gel-X. She struggled throughout the appointment and had difficulty removing my daughter’s press-on nails, hurting her in the process. At one point, she applied a Gel-X nail incorrectly. It was crooked, and part of my daughter’s natural nail was still visible underneath. She had to remove the nail she had just applied and start over. Removing it was painful and hurt my daughter. I even asked Wendy if she regularly performed Gel-X applications at the salon because I was concerned by how much she was struggling. Instead of answering my question directly, she did not respond, and the service continued. I wish she had simply said she wasn’t comfortable with Gel-X and asked a more experienced technician to take over. The finished nails were not shaped properly, and the application was poor. To make matters worse, less than a week later, two of the nails had already fallen off—even though these were her wedding nails. I appreciate the quality of the services I personally received, but I wish the salon had been honest about their Gel-X experience or assigned someone who was properly trained. That would have saved my daughter unnecessary pain, stress, and disappointment during such a special occasion.

My sisters and I did a impromptu day out with 6 of us to celebrate our nieces birthday. As busy as they already were we did not think they would take us so quickly! I can honestly say we were treated well and were not rushed even with how crazy busy they were! They were super friendly and even had egg rolls for customers. The owners are so nice and the technicians are so nice to chat with and made everyone feel welcomed. The best part is the mani and pedicures of course! Prices are about average but the service was superb! We all got a different experience but overall it was great! My daughter loved it as well in her little princess chair. The nail technician Wendy was amazing because I gave her the first picture and she delivered! Can you tell the difference??? Because i cant! I love love love them!
