August 2025, I had a new roof installed. Immediately upon completion, I contacted my Agent, Aimee, and notified her that I got a new roof. I sent her all the requested paperwork and pictures for her to report everything to Safeco. March 2026, I received my Safeco renewal and contacted Danielle to discuss why my home insurance was still extremely high. Of course I was disturbed since for the past 2 years, Safeco increased my insurance $1k for two years straight to the tune of $2k. To my surprise, I learned that Aimee never turned in the paperwork to Safeco. Once Danielle notified Safeco, they were going to prorate my policy back to August 2025 and give me a refund. After going back and forth with Danielle and her speaking with Safeco, I received a reimbursement less $200. I was punished for Aimee not handling my paperwork properly and timely. If you use Equity Insurance, please double check to make sure all paperwork that you have turned in, has been reported to your actual insurance company, which mine was Safeco. I trusted my previous agent to handle my paperwork, and she didn't. This company has lots of turn over with employess which is not good. The company has not provided the services that they use to provide since they have changed owners. The company offered excellent service when Susan Flagg was there, and they were Home Insurance Solutions. I was disappointed in how my home policy was handled, and had done business with the company for over 7 years. I do not recomment this company, and if you decide to use them, you must double check everything. *** REPLY TO YOUR RESPONSE: YOUR COMPANY NEVER REACHED OUT TO ME. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE IT LOOK LIKE I WAS AT FAULT BECAUSE I HAVE EMAIL/DOCUMENTATION THAT IT WAS SENT TO YOUR OFFICE. NO FURTHER RESPONSE IS NEEDED ON YOUR BEHALF. MY OVERALL OPINION DOES NOT CHANGE. PEOPLE BE CAREFUL!

Ghosted by Danielle Tello. Reached out on April 20th for a home insurance quote. I received a response and sent the requested information. I reached out three days later on the 23rd for an update with no response. Today is day 7 and still no response. Reached out and secured coverage in the same day with a different agency.
