Fancy Nails

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I came in looking forward to a relaxing pedicure, but unfortunately the experience became stressful because of how I was treated. I had questions about the pricing because I wanted to understand what I was paying for. The spa pedicure was $40, gel polish was an additional $15, four acrylic toenails were $30 total, and two rhinestones were $10 each. I understand that I agreed to the pricing, but I was surprised by how quickly everything added up, so I asked questions as a paying customer. I want to recognize the first technician because she handled my concerns with patience and professionalism. She answered my questions respectfully and even offered me a complimentary drink after noticing I was frustrated about the cost. That small gesture helped lighten the mood, and I truly appreciated her kindness. Unfortunately, once the second technician took over, my experience changed. I became confused about how my big toenail was going to look, so I asked questions because I didn’t understand the process. Instead of explaining it differently, I was told I didn’t know what I was talking about because I wasn’t a nail technician, that I should let her do her job, and eventually that since I “know so much,” I could do it myself. She also commented on my toes, which I found embarrassing and unnecessary. I understand that she may have been frustrated, but I don’t believe anyone paying for a service should be spoken to that way. I wasn’t yelling, cursing, or trying to tell her how to do her job. I was simply trying to understand what I was paying for and what the finished result would look like. Another employee came over to help de-escalate the situation, and I appreciate that she stepped in. However, I left feeling like my concerns weren’t really acknowledged. I felt encouraged to stop talking rather than being heard, and I didn’t feel the comments that had been made to me were addressed. By the end of the appointment, things became cordial, and I even apologized because I wanted to move forward and enjoy the rest of my day, but I never received an apology for the way I was spoken to. I did like how my toes turned out, but the overall experience wasn’t worth it to me. My biggest disappointment wasn’t the nails themselves—it was the customer service. If I wanted to do my own nails, I would have stayed home and figured them out myself. I came to a salon because I expected professional service and respectful communication, especially when I had questions. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning. I sincerely appreciate the first technician for her patience and professionalism, and I hope this feedback encourages better communication with customers in the future. Fancy nails is an awesome salon to visit. The service is always top-notch, and you feel relaxed. I personally go to the nail tech Kanha, and she is knowledgeable about nail care and many designs. I love how I can show her an inspiration photo, and she can recreate the design while making it her own. Additionally, she has excellent time management skills and doesn't have her clients waiting to be serviced when appointments are utilized.

Nothing fancy about these nails. I came for a simple gel manicure… I had them redo a nail because there were bubble in the gel & once I get home, I see the polish is bubbling up on other fingers. It’s been less than a week and the polish is also breaking. I won’t come back here 🙅🏽‍♀️ …

I have been going to fancy nails for many years. I have seen so much transformation for the good.I am very proud to say that fancy nails has some very experienced artist very professional and what they do, I’ve had the experience to see many of the talented artists’s and I can’t say that I was never unhappy with any of them, they’re artistry, smiles, patience, and excellent customer service is what really kept me coming back. I wouldn’t refer people anywhere if I wasn’t impressed myself they are deserving of it. I’ve been to a lot of places to get my services done and I cannot tell you that I have been happy with all of them because I have not, nobody’s perfect but when I spend my money and it’s going towards myself, I do require a level of exceptional talent. Fancy nails has proven that over the years that particular staff has proving to me as I observe everything of how they treat their customers coming through the door. I am proud to walk in fancy nails because I know that I’m going to get a great experience and leave with confidence I got the look that I wanted . I would tell you but I want you to actually go see for yourself. Oh!! They are right by the premium outlet mall so once you get done getting all fancy, you can go shopping & eat the restaurant are beside them everything convenient.
