Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

Kathy RUINED my virgin hair. I booked for a trim and Kathy suggested a color service as well. I had the extra time, so I said yes and asked for an all brown color to match my natural but she looked and said they didn’t have my color in stock, so I asked for a darker brown with light brown highlights/balayage. I went back a different day and Gina corrected what turned out to be chunky blonde that was straight across and looked grown out by dying an all over brown that matched my natural. You can still see the blonde and although it’s not as harsh or drastic as before it just looks uneven and surely not as if it was done by a professional. It was the most awkward situation and put me out of pocket $215 just to damage my virgin hair and needing to take it to another salon to correct. I have asked for management to contact me online and left my contact information with a stylist, but they have yet to reach out. My hair has been trimmed here for years, but this was my first coloring experience. Be careful asking for bleach or Kathy period.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! I am so impressed by how affordable the prices are, especially given the incredible quality of the haircut. The stylist really listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. It is rare to find this level of skill without paying a fortune. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back!

Extremely poor service from the beginning, when I created the appointment the lady who answered (also the stylist) asked for my first and last name and as I was spelling my last name she cut me off saying “ okay that’s enough” so I had hoped she wasn’t my stylist for my appointment. When I got there with my friend she didn’t introduce herself, she took us back and she only asked what do you want. No conversation, only thing she said was you need to dye your hair. So after my cut it looked “okay” I kept examining it in the mirror and I did not see any layers, she did not have me look down and it just looked blunt and very uneven. During my friend’s service her service was much nicer, giving her compliments and talking to her a little bit more. But she did not listen to what my friend wanted. She BUTCHERED her hair so bad. We both paid and left. We tipped due to the stylist watching what our tip was. No thank you no have a nice day. I wish I didn’t pay but I’m not confrontational. But we went to a different salon afterwards and they fixed our hair THANK GOD. I was able to do a review and find out the stylist’s name is Nancy. DO NOT GOT TO HER FOR LONG HAIR AND WANTING LAYERS! You’ll be sad.

Today I came in with nearly 10 box dyes on my hair, put on over the past year. I had applied a black box color to my hair this past weekend—over red box dye applied a day earlier that didn’t turn out as expected. I spent 4 hours in the salon with two girls—they managed to take out all the box colors, give me a haircut and a full balayage as well as style it. It didn’t turn out EXACTLY like the photos but I’m extremely pleased with the results. Will be returning for my toners, trims and treatments. Thank you!!!
