So glad we found Flamingo Automotive. The owner, Joe and his staff really helped us out in a jam. We were just about to drive back to Houston after a few days in Austin for Spring Break, when the suspension started making clanking noises. We didn’t feel safe driving back more than 3 hrs without checking the car! We looked up auto mechanics in Google Maps, trying to find where many people had great things to say. I am glad to report that all the positive reviews were spot on! When we arrived, the friendly staff took the initiative to help visually inspect for any obvious dangerous issues. Even though they were full for the day, they took the time to fit us in. Joe went on a quick test drive and identified the issue right away, and showed me where the loose stabilizer link which was causing the noise. The staff got on the problem as soon as there was a small gap in their busy schedule to help resolve the issue! They also gave a quick inspection of the fluids and tires before sending us on our way. Thanks so much for helping this family get on the road back home. We would highly recommend them, a place with great attitude and aptitude, which takes pride in their work and treat their customers great!

Flamingo Automotive on Guadalupe provided such a quick and helpful experience when I needed it most. I had just purchased a used vehicle and couldn’t get the gas cap open to fill up the tank. I stopped by, and Chip helped me right away. He quickly diagnosed the issue, explaining that the gas cap O-ring can sometimes stick and just needs occasional cleaning.
