I really like the location and the staff were very friendly. I was underwhelmed by the food and I am a vegetarian so if I go somewhere vegan, I'm excited to be able to try something without worrying that there's meat in it. I think it kind of lacked flavor. I had the portobello Panini and there was just nothing standout or indulgent about it. The salad that came with it was nice but again it wasn't really anything special and it was very expensive to me for what it was. I am sure a lot of the cost for this restaurant is about the location, but I want to really enjoy it when a sandwich cost that much. My sister ordered the ramen and we are the sort of people you would assume at first glance cannot handle spice so she was warned when she ordered it that it was spicy and it was not spicy. I always assume that if you look like me and I go into a restaurant where the spice level is from a cuisine that is far more spicy than what typical "American" fair might be, that they may be downgrading the spice level on what they're serving, but my sister is not particularly into spicy. So for her to say it was not spicy, I think it was pretty bland. They have a menu of drinks that had an iced tea on it for more than $5 with a $1 refill. I don't think you should charge for a refill on t in a sit-down restaurant. I just think that's too cheap. It costs you pennies to make that tea. We didn't order the tea. We had water. I thought the spoon was kind of cool. I am somebody who enjoys a good spoon if that wasn't already obvious. I don't think I would eat there again. There were very few customers during our visit on a Friday at lunch time while the area has very little available parking which tells me that people are in this area to get lunch right now, so I think that the price point and the fair may not have found their sweet spot. It is a really beautiful location and it's nice to have lunch somewhere that's not too loud.

I’m not vegan myself—I still eat dairy and fish—but I keep coming back here because the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. This visit was for lunch, and I ordered the vegan BLT sandwich, which came with a fresh side salad, and treated myself to an ice-blended coffee drink. Everything was simple yet spot-on—clean flavors, quality ingredients, and nothing overdone. I’ve also been here for dinner several times and can highly recommend their vegan fettuccine Alfredo and especially the green beans. Those green beans are next-level—bursting with flavor. I honestly wish I could get the recipe! I walked over during my lunch break, since I now work in Old Town Tustin, and the setting really adds to the experience. I’ve included a few photos so you can see how charming the area is—think brick buildings, Victorian homes, and a vibe that feels more like a storybook town than Southern California. The restaurant’s outdoor patio is a perfect little oasis, complete with a cute fountain, leafy shade, and sunny spots for those who want them. Service was quick and attentive, which I appreciated since I was on a tight schedule. The staff checked in just the right amount—present but never intrusive. All in all, this spot is a long-standing favorite for good reason. Whether you’re plant-based or just looking for a meal that’s fresh and satisfying, you won’t be disappointed.

I had clients fly in from Portland and, with dietary restrictions, they asked for vegetarian/vegan lunch options. Between showings, we stumbled upon this spot—completely unplanned—and it exceeded every expectation. Great food, great service, great ambiance. One of those places you think will be “pretty good”… and then it completely blows you away. I didn’t even think to take a photo at first or write a review, but after the first bite, I knew this place was special. By then, it was too late—the food didn’t stand a chance.

We've been regular customers here, but today was an incredibly disappointing visit. The coconut pineapple cake was very dry, and when we mentioned it to our server, she defensively insisted four times that this is how they make it. It was disheartening to have our concern dismissed, and to top it off, the cake was still included on the bill. We did pay, but we certainly won't be returning.
