Gateaux d'Ije Home Bakery - Custom Cakes

I just ordered my wedding cake from Ijeoma and it was everything I could have ever asked for. It was the best cake I have ever had! I have celiac and so does a lot of my family, and she took such great care of us. The design was exactly what I wanted as well! I couldn’t recommend her enough!

We have used Gâteaux d'Ije for our daughter's birthday cakes for the past four years. She never disappoints! Everyone always comments about how beautiful and delicious the cakes are (the lemon filling is my favorite!). She is easy to work with and can do almost anything you ask for (honestly, she's been able to do everything I've asked for). We always recommend her and will continue to use her for our cakes in the future.

This is the second time that I've ordered a customized cake from Ijeoma and she didn't disappoint! Communication was direct and clear, she was on time yet flexible, and most importantly, she delivered what was asked of her! Her cakes are meticulously made and they look and tasted great! Ijeoma did an absolutely phenomenal job with our gender reveal cake. We didn't want to know the gender of the baby and wanted to be just as surprised as the rest of our family and friends. To do this, we gave her an envelope that we received directly from the doctor's office with the gender of the baby. She said that if it's a boy she would make the middle layer blue and if it's a girl the middle layer would be pink. The cake was made and decorated with love and the taste was more than we could have imagined. Most bakers make the outside look picture-perfect, but don't care about the taste of the cake - this cake was perfect through and through and everyone raved about how delicious it was! The decorations and attention to detail on the outside was meticulous and elegant too and she did a terrific job recreating the cake design we found on Pinterest (picture attached). The outside "decorative" macaroons were absolutely divine! We wholeheartedly recommend this bakery!

My husband ordered a cake from here for our 28th birthday together. My husband did a pretty horrible job at communicating to the owner what he wanted, so I was a little worried at how it would turn out. She was extremely professional and nice about the whole thing. We ended up getting the strawberry rum, and it was pretty delicious esp since I'm not really a fan of rum cakes. The strawberries she put on top were also very sweet and juicy. There are designs on the website that you can look through to order your cake if you want. We just opted for something simple since it was a small birthday this year. I'm very happy with how the cake turned out and highly recommend!
