I went to this HEB this morning and while I walked the entire store, not one employees smiled nor acknowledged me. There was one rude Chinese lady that works at the bakery that told me to close the bread container lid after I was finished grabbing what I wanted - really? I went to checkout and two girls - Noemi and Mikayla were deep into conversion about how their mother was asking when she was going to pay her car insurance and so on. Neither one engaged in starting a conversion with me and were too busy talking about their personal lives but how hard is it to ask, "Hi, how are you doing today?" I get it; we all have issues going on, but at work, you are supposed to leave that stuff behind. Employees seem miserable probably because of poor management. The new HEB on El Dorado is ten times better.

This is my favorite HEB and I live by the HEB at 288. The HEB at Pearland Pkwy is always very clean, not alot of carts all over the place & great employees which tells me there must be awesome mgmt. I used to live on this side of town and miss going in more often, but I wanted to give my 5 stars and I always tell all the cashiers that they work at the best HEB ......THANK YOU

Produce, fish, and meat department are excellent. At Sushi-ya i bought chicken teriyaki and the rice was undercooked and crunchy. I told two employees making the food that people can get sick from undercooked rice and they laughed in my face and did not seem concerned at all. I found a manager and told him. He was very respectful and offered me a refund. He did seem concerned and said he would take care of it.

Yesterday afternoon , 06/03/2026. I purchased a package of meat - beef round tip stk milanesa for $15.99 with a best buy date of 06/06/2026. I chose the best package at that, too because some were not looking too FRESH! Well I had to RETURN the meat package because it SMELLED bad as I was separating the meat slices!!! Very disappointed in the MEAT DEPT at this HEB NOT CARING about people’s HEALTH and QUALITY CONTROL!

Went to heb today and the lights were out (thats fine and i get that)... all lines were wrapped around the corner and an employee (pictured in red shirt, this latina lady in red) was in front of me when we get to check out she rudely let a random customer cut in front of all of us. When i asked her if she knew the lady she said no, when i asked her what made her more important than the 10 other ppl behind her she gave me attitude in spanish i also speak spanish so i can communicate. No customer is more important than any other customer i understand everyone behind her was a poc and the lady she let cut was a different demographic than the rest of us but what kind of privilege mess is this? All customers should be treated the same we have all been waiting around 20min this was so rude. i hope to never run into this lady again in the red shirt that works she is rude and disrespectful and needs to be told about herself.
