H Mart Carrollton

I drove 45 minutes and ended up in another country! H-Mart in Carrollton Texas opened in 2008, but if most Americans are being honest they have never stepped foot inside an Asian supermarket before. If you’re not scared of something different, this store is packed to the brim with exciting items, exotic fruits, rare snacks and a live seafood section with sea creatures you’ve never heard of. You could spend hours just exploring H-Mart. Fresh lychee, dragon fruit, jackfruit, durian, asian pears, King oyster mushrooms and Daikon radishes are just a few of the rare items you’ll find stocked. Sauces you’ve never heard of, packaging you can’t read and more than 100 varieties of ramen. You’re not in Seoul. You’re in Carrollton Texas. If the store isn’t interesting enough, there is an Asian food hall built in with vendors cooking up authentic cuisine. At H-Mart you can come to the grocery store and get completely full before you get back to the car. This location was a gamble. 20 years ago none of this was here yet. Korean investors believed in a vision based around H-Mart as a new anchor tenant. Carrollton Koreatown is now absolutely real and the area outside and around H-Mart is packed with Korean restaurants, Korean bakeries, Korean venues and Korean coffee shops. This is a massive economic hub. For me the big story here is how a supermarket helped turn a forgotten shopping center into one of the most culturally distinct destinations in DFW. If you haven’t been, it’s probably about time you planned a visit.

H Mart @Carrollton has huge collection of all Korean favorite kemchi, veggie, black garlic, live fishes, see food, fashion accessories, Coffee shops...all Asian soft drinks, kitchen items..you name it ,they gotta it🫶🎊🎉 Cool ,cofy , Coffee shop..just pick your favorite drinks. .surprisingly " No " Match...they covered by Green tea✅️😅🍵, Extra ordinary client services and customer service ✨️💫 All my healthy, favorite fruits & veggies, Gotta super excited 🤩😄 ,Super Cool H mart..the best mart..will come again👍⚘️

This was my first visit to H Mary and I LOVED it! All of the produ e is fresh with quite a wide variety. If you're looking to throw some excitement in your snack game this is the place to browse. And the soda selection was fascinating.

I love shopping at H Mart Carrollton! The store is always clean, well-organized, and fully stocked with fresh produce, seafood, meats, and a huge variety of Asian groceries you can’t find anywhere else. The quality of the fruits and vegetables is excellent. The staff are polite and helpful, and checkout is usually quick even when the store is busy. The food court inside is also a great bonus — perfect for grabbing a quick meal after shopping. This is my go-to place for Korean ingredients and international foods. Highly recommend!

The stuffed cucumber kimchi was a disgrace. I am Korean, I know how it should taste. These tasted like salted cucumbers. Absolutely zero flavor or spice. I ate 1 and threw the rest away. As a Korean id be ashamed to sell any kind of kimchi that tasted this bad.
