Nice, affordable place to have a nice haircut. I have been going to this place and to Henry before he purchased it. I only trust Henry with my hair. Kid and family-friendly place.

I’ve been a client at this barbershop for nearly two years, getting a haircut every 15 days. I’ve never left a tip—not because I don’t want to, but because I’ve never been satisfied with the service. From the very first haircut, the work has been sloppy, despite the fact that my haircut is very simple: faded on the sides and trimmed on top with scissors. The man who usually cuts my hair spends most of the time watching TV while working, and it shows in the results: uneven, poorly done cuts, and I always have to ask him to fix them. When his wife cuts my hair, she clearly does it reluctantly. Every time I ask her to finish the cut properly using the right machine, she makes faces and sighs in frustration, as if I’m bothering her. I’m referring specifically to the electric rotary shaver with three circular blades, also known as a three-head shaver. It’s a basic tool to clean up the haircut, yet she never uses it unless I ask her to, even though she already knows I always request it. Over time, I’ve come to the conclusion that they simply don’t offer me quality service because they know I won’t leave a tip. That attitude is completely unacceptable. Tipping is not an obligation; it’s a way to show appreciation for good service. In my case, I haven’t tipped because the service has never been good enough to deserve it. My partner also gets haircuts and eyebrow grooming here and always leaves a tip—even when the results are far from excellent. Still, the difference in how we’re treated is obvious. There are no good or bad clients based on tipping. All customers pay for the service, and the money from someone who doesn’t tip still helps grow the business—especially when it’s a loyal client who brings others with them. A customer who brings more customers is never a loss. Today they charged us more than usual for the exact same service, even if we had left a tip, it would’ve come out to the same or less than what they decided to charge. I chose not to say anything, because this will be the last time I go to that place. Hopefully that extra money helps them out—for the rest of their lives. The owner of this place should reflect: the quality of your work should not depend on whether or not someone tips. In a shop that’s often empty, you can’t afford to lose regular customers over this kind of behavior. I’m more than willing to pay for a proper haircut—but I’ll be doing it somewhere else, where I’m treated with respect and professionalism, and where I don’t have to remind the barber of every basic step or feel like I’m a bother for asking them to finish the job properly.

Legit. Good haircut, great price. I keep my hair short and get it cut often. Just so tired of paying $25+ at places. They take too long or are chatty or make it a "men's place" and offer you sports on TV and a whiskey for "free." But you're still paying for that bro. It's wrapped up in the stupid $40 price tag. Looked around for an inexpensive place. This has good reviews and I'm not disappointed at all. Both Henry and his wife are great. I'll take whoever is available (which is rare for me at a barber). No fuss. No muss. No chit chat to stretch it out to 30 minutes to make you think it was worth the high cost. 10 bucks, 10 minutes. Perfect. This is my new spot Caveat: cash or Venmo only

Henry was fantastic. He did my 16 month old son who was non stop crying and was still able to do a great job on his haircut. Very happy. My haircut was done very well too. Both at a very reasonable price. Definitely planning to return.
