Purchased fresh meat on Friday, January 9, 2026. The package was packed on 1/8 and clearly labeled “Sell By 1/11.” When I opened it on Sunday, January 11, 2026 (the sell-by date), the meat was already spoiled with a strong, unmistakable odor, despite being unopened and properly refrigerated the entire time. The store refused any refund or exchange, citing a “fresh items after 24 hours” policy. This response is unacceptable. A store policy does not override basic food safety standards. Selling spoiled meat that is still within its sell-by date is a serious health concern. Extremely disappointed and concerned about quality control. Shoppers should be cautious when purchasing fresh meat here.

Terrible service! They offer samples and choosing racial profiling who could get the sample. If they can’t give sample to everyone then don’t bother to offer. Ridiculous

Amazing place if you've never been here. So many different kinds of foods and items that you won't find in a normal US store or even other non- Korean Asian markets. Highly recommended if you want a nice visual and gastronomic selection to take home.

I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. The store was not busy at all, and there were multiple employees available. I was checked out at register #5, and the cashier’s name was Sarah. As she scanned my items, she slid them down without bagging anything. I politely asked who would be bagging the groceries, and she responded that they “don’t have hands to offer extra help.” I understand that when a store is busy or short-staffed, customers may need to bag their own items, but that was not the situation here. The interaction quickly became inappropriate. Sarah demanded that I bag everything myself and then handed the bags to my child, telling her to bag the items because she was “younger.” She made comments implying that younger people should be the ones doing the bagging because she was older than us. How dare she make assumptions based on age, this felt extremely inappropriate and discriminatory. She could have easily helped by placing items directly into the bags as she scanned them, but instead said that was “not her job” and continued with a rude and dismissive attitude. She also complained that next time we “shouldn’t buy so many items” if we expected help with bagging. What made this even more upsetting was that other customers at nearby registers were clearly receiving help with bagging, while we were singled out and denied assistance. Another employee even walked by and offered to help, but Sarah told him to leave, stating that “they will bag their own items.” Being treated differently from other customers in this way was unacceptable. A manager was standing nearby watching the entire interaction. When I asked if she could assist, she looked directly at me and said she could not help because it was “not her duty.” That response showed a complete lack of leadership and customer care. On top of all this, I witnessed a serious hygiene concern. While using the restroom, I saw an employee exit a stall and walk straight out without washing his hands, then return to work at the meat section wearing the same gloves. This was extremely concerning from a food safety standpoint. Overall, customer service here continues to decline. This experience left a very negative impression, and I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously.

3.5 Market world is off the 60 Lemon, kinda near the 60E and 57 meets. I thought it was a Chinese market, I was in need of wonton noodles so I decided to give this place a try. It’s actually a Korean market geared towards Asians; I say this because I did find wonton noodles but not near the noodle section at all it was closer to the tofu section. Prices are reasonable ton of ramen, noodles, rice, 3 restaurants, a bakery and 2 smaller stores that sell ready to eat foods such as; Kimchi, Kimbap, Bibimbap, scallion pancake, anchovy’s, fried fish and banchan – Korean small side dishes! It’s convenient, they are missing 1.5 stars because the meat section lacked quantity and quality.
