Hao's Grocery & Cafe

Once again, Rebecca provided above and beyond customer service. She's so patient, welcoming, understanding, and just a phenomenal person. The most recent visit was on Thursday, April 30, 2026. The first time, half a dozen didn't cut it, so I had to get a dozen for my little one and me. They had opened and had sold out of their pork dumplings. At first, I was hesitant about buying their kimchi dumplings since I thought they would taste just like kimchi. I'm not hating it, it's just an acquired taste or depending on who makes it. However, I stand corrected because they were so delicious and flavorful. Yummy, their pork and kimchi dumplings are so savory and delicious, especially with chili oil and a tad of soy sauce. I also purchased sticky rice and a loaf of bread that was made by Rebecca. Rebecca informed me that Lu(I'm sorry if that's not the name of the cook/chef you mentioned) makes vegan food dishes like their kimchi dumplings as well as other dishes on Thursdays. The food orders begin from 5 p.m. up until 8 p.m. They also have a Dj who is his friend and they also do karaoke. My hope is to go back to try more of Lu's food specialties soon as well. It all sounds like such a great time. By the way, you can always call to inquire if they have what you'd like, since Rebecca mentioned they have been busy about a week ago, ever since someone posted them on social media, and she was the only one there, cashiering, prepping the food etc., so please be patient and kind. Just a reminder because I know some people get hangry, so please be mindful and kind. Overall, it was a marvelous experience and just can't thank Rebecca enough for how kind, patient, and welcoming she was and, as I mentioned earlier, above and beyond customer service. If you haven't stopped by, you're missing out, please check it out. ---------------- I noticed a lady put out a sign facing the street and, coincidentally, my little one and I were seated nearby. I read the sign and made sure to stop by. As soon as my little one and I stepped foot into Hao's Grocery and Café, we were greeted with such a warm welcome and genuine smiles. Hao and her staff were so attentive, friendly, helpful and just awesome. The interior is big enough to fit a stroller with some space for people to walk around and shop. I'm not sure how busy it gets during the weekends, so it may not be the best idea to take a stroller. It might be a tight fit. There is a long table for people to sit and eat their food, and it's quite spacious. They have soy sauce, chili oil, and Sriracha sauce on the table. I really liked their chili oil and soy sauce. The dining area is inviting and aesthetically pleasing. The dumplings are made in-house and we're so good. My baby boy and I shared and we each had three. He definitely enjoyed eating these delicious pork dumplings. 5/5 The staff ensured to check up on us and the lady who was at the front register and preparing people's food is in the video I posted on here. I wish I asked for her name to thank her for such a positive and amazing experience. I plan to go back again and try other dishes and hopefully attend their next moon cake cooking class or other class/es. If you haven't been here, I highly recommend you do.

Hao is the sweetest soul and is so eager to share her love of cooking with the Fort Worth community! I took her Mooncakes and Tea cooking class. She provided instructions but allowed us to cook ourselves, making the experience more interactive and enjoyable. She also provided us snacks while we cooked—tasty tea, soup dumplings, char siu bao, and creme brûlée. These mooncakes turned out so beautifully. I highly recommend taking a class with Hao or even just stopping by her store. She is so friendly to everyone who comes in, and is such a staple to the Fort Worth community.

This place is so cool they have lots of different fresh and frozen foods. Things like frozen pizza, soy sauce, chili sauce, farm fresh eggs, steak, noodles. They also have a kitchen and some times have dinner party's with a DJ! I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner and she was so nice and very knowledgeable about all of the products she had for purchase. This place was clean and is fun to go shopping at.

I love popping into Hao's to snag a particular ingredient for an Asian dish like homemade chili oil or her homemade dumplings. I was lucky enough to finally get a seat in one of her culinary events collaborating with Choke + Arte Tea which was an AMAZING tea + food pairing inspired by Oaxaca. Already trying to figure out when the next one is so I can bring more friends to experience this absolute neighborhood culinary gem in Fort Worth.
