Hawkers Asian Street Food

We love our Hawkers, we love the consistency of great flavors and cool atmosphere of each one we go to. We were up visiting our son in Charlotte and decided we needed to try this location since we had meet the chef in Nashville that same week. He recommended some new dishes we needed to try. Once again the food was excellent. Our favorite is definitely the Roti. We always enjoy the atmosphere, and the food. Our server was amazing as well. I am sure we will be back.

We enjoyed lunch at Hawkers for my son's 24th birthday on June 18, 2026. The food was delicious- lots of new small dishes to try! The decor and atmosphere indoors are top notch. There is also a dining space outside. Service was great! Our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu items. There are several things to remember if you are trying Hawkers for the first time. The small dishes come out progressively. It is best to get dishes to share, as suggested on the menu. This method ensures that all items are at the perfect temperature when they reach the table. Our overall favorites were the pork belly bao buns, steak bulgogi, twice fried chicken wings, and summer rolls. As a special birthday treat, they brought out powdered sugar donut balls for my son. It was a thoughtful touch! There is paid parking (only a few dollars for 2 hours) on the street nearby, and there is also a parking deck within walking distance. Don't miss this gem in the SouthEnd area of Chatlotte, NC when you have a special occasion or just want some great Korean street food!

This restaurant was a fun and memorable experience. It was my first time visiting, and it exceeded my expectations. The indoor décor was unique, creative, and full of interesting details that made the atmosphere enjoyable. The food was above average and every dish we ordered was delicious. What made the experience even better was the friendly staff, who took great care of us throughout

Thet was such a great server! She really listened to what we liked and gave some solid recommendations. She even encouraged me to try something outside my comfort zone! When I ended up not loving the dish, she didn’t miss a beat and helped me switch to another option right away. She even brought out wings that our table had passed on earlier just so I’d have something to eat with everyone super thoughtful and honestly meant a lot. You can tell she really knows her stuff, and being from Thailand just adds to the authenticity of the whole experience. Her vibe, knowledge, and service made the night even better. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re a foodie or just want to try something new. Thet, thanks again!

Hawkers was excellent. The food was full of flavor, perfectly crafted, and presented with real care. Every dish had a unique taste that stood out, and everything arrived fast without losing quality. The drinks were just as impressive, delicious and thoughtfully made. The entire experience felt fun, bright, and memorable.
