Hitech Dental Care: Nguyen Long DDS

This office is overall very unprofessional! Mistaken me for someone else, try to coerced me to do service that I never said yes to. Gaslight, manipulation, mansplaining me, etc. I have seen Dr.Whitney Do before and she is extremely professional so this is not about her. So they called me in for an appointment for a lot of stuff, cleaning, root canal, crown,etc. I asked them I will wait until Dr. Whitney comes back from vacation to do those and just going to get my teeth anually cleaned. When I came in a rude male doctor named Dr.Massa was yelling on why I'm not doing the root canal and crown today, the front desk lady came back to ask me why I dont want it done (duh?) I said I dont want it done today periodT. The rude man came straight to the chair and started mansplaining me about my dead tooth and why wouldnt i want to do crowns, he was yelling, rude to me in a very disrespectful voice. (He was also yelling at all the other woman in the clinic as well shocker) what a child, how can i call that Massa guy a doctor? He honestly is throwing tantrum when I said no to his *unannounced* service. He even threaten that if I dont get it done today he wont be able to do both of them for me. Then they started giving me the numbing gel, which is weird usually regular cleaning doesnt need numbing. Massa came in and injected numbing for me immediately. I freaked out and asked why did you numb me. He told me you want deep cleaning right, i have to numb you. I just wanted them to explain what they are doing to MY teeth. He said in a very disrespectful voice "I dont know what you dont understand, DEEP CLEANING will hurt so i have to numb you" Brother I never come in with the intention to DEEP.CLEAN.EVER. I went to the front to complain after I made them clean my teeth normally. Apparently the front mistaken me with another lady. WHAT?! They even argue that he didnt do anything. yeah! Bc i stopped him!! One of the front desk beg me not to complain but I just cant, they said it's all their fault, but how can a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL not know who is his patient, and freak out for a service THEY DIDNT WANT to get? Now one of the side pf my mouth is numb. If I didnt stop them maybe I couldve had one of my teeth extracted w/o my permission! Horrible!!

I see Dr. Teng but her entire staff is compassionate and caring. She explains what she is going to do and why. I was completely relaxed. I also use a wheelchair and her staff had no problem helping me into the dental chair. The office is very clean

Always overbooked. I was a patient here and visited the office 3 times. Always had to wait for at least 30 minutes PASS the appt time, or even 1 hour at one time. I talked to the receptionist (who's also the owner of the office) and was told "the dentist is very busy, it's not like they're sitting around doing nothing"... I stopped coming after that. I actually liked the dentist there (Dr. Do). The rest of the staff were just meh. Lot of gossiping and loud talking, even argueing going on during my visits. Conclusion, very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

I had a deep clean here. A week later, my tooth hurt, so I went back for a check-up. The dentist didn't examine my teeth but asked me what insurance I had. After checking my insurance, he said I was eligible for a root canal. (I'm 40, my teeth are still very good). I went to another office and was told I had a mild infection, and I took painkillers for a few days to get it gone. Luckily, I listened to the dentist here or I would have lost my tooth. This office is very irresponsible and really likes root canals. An acquaintance said that they were also "recommended" to have root canals done here. Every time I come, I have to wait more than an hour even though I have an appointment. Be careful. I will never come back.
