Đăng nhập để đánh giáI booked online for full highlights with Tony S. and a haircut with Caro F. I was intentional about not booking with an apprentice. Before the appointment, the salon requested current photos and inspiration images. After reviewing them, Tony told me he would not be able to achieve the inspiration due to my hair history (box dye, color reducers, oxidative bleaching, toners — chemically stressed hair). When I arrived, I clearly stated my priorities: hair health, dimension, longevity, and minimal warmth. Tony explained that some warmth was inevitable, dimension would be difficult, and longevity depended on aftercare. I understood and told him I was done experimenting and was even open to a single darker all-over color if that preserved my hair’s integrity. During this discussion, Tony told me, “You might lose hair to breakage, but since you have so much, you probably won’t notice.” When I asked how much breakage he meant, he said “about 50%.” At that point, I no longer cared about color — only about keeping my hair on my scalp. While shampooing, he later said, “Good news, your hair isn’t falling out,” which left me uncomfortable and unsure how to respond. The haircut experience is where things truly went wrong. I was told on the phone that pixie cuts were not Caro’s expertise, as she was “new talent,” but they said they would confirm — and then gave me the green light. During the haircut consultation, I showed clear reference photos and explicitly told her that if she felt the cut would not suit me, I wanted her to say so. She appeared confident and understanding. However, once the cut began, it became clear she was inexperienced — repeatedly re-combing the same sections and struggling with scissor control. When Tony checked in and asked how things were going, I expressed concern about the cut. He avoided engaging and moved on. When I told Caro the cut looked like a mushroom/bowl cut, she sought a second opinion. A senior stylist referred her to Alan (lead stylist). Alan advised her not to over-graduate my thick hair and to remove weight from the sides with scissors held nearly parallel. Unfortunately, her scissor angle was incorrect, which made the shelf higher and worsened the shape. I was visibly anxious and holding back tears. Alan came by multiple times. I begged him to take over, but he told me, “You are Caro’s client, and training is part of booking with an apprentice. We were clear about that on the phone.” This was extremely upsetting, as I did not book with an apprentice, and I was never told my service would be treated as such. The dismissal and gaslighting were more painful than the haircut itself. Eventually, Alan did take over. He corrected the mushroom shape, but the only way to fix it was to remove significant length, leaving me with a much shorter pixie than intended. I have shared photos for transparency. I genuinely wanted to love this experience. It was meant to be a fresh start for 2026. To make matters worse, I was charged $460. I was told toner is not included with highlights, and I was charged $58 for an extra bowl of bleach — despite my hair being shorter than chin length. To top it off, they did not have change, so I was effectively forced to leave a $40 tip after what was an extremely distressing experience. I left feeling unheard, invalidated, and deeply disappointed.
My hairstylist was Caro. She did amazing! I wanted a pretty big chop with lots of layers/shaggy vibe. She did not hesitate and went straight into razoring and creating this super cute look! I think she is really talented especially with unique / alternative styles. Which is hard to come by! Will definitely be a regular with her from here on out.
I booked a haircut with Caro for Saturday! I went in hoping to trim some of the dead ends and add some more layers, and she was able to do just that! I got a very bouncy blow out and several people at work complimented my hair hahaha. Would definitely go back to Caro for my next haircut :) Staff was super friendly and they had good music on the speakers.
I had such a wonderful experience at Hue Salon! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Their customer service was excellent—they even offered me coffee, which made the whole atmosphere feel warm and inviting. My haircut with Caro was honestly one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had. She took the time to explain every step, was so sweet and helpful, and most importantly, she truly listened to what I wanted. She was very attentive, and she gave me exactly the haircut I asked for. I absolutely love how it turned out! I’m highly satisfied and already looking forward to booking my next appointment to get my hair dyed. Thank you, Caro, and the whole Hue Salon team, for such a lovely experience!
Love this salon… very clean and welcoming. valet or garage parking - they validate both. I’ve been coming to Denisse for over a year. She’s consistent and knowledgeable. For a client like myself that usually yearly goes from brunette->blonde->brunette it’s imperative that 1. the resulting colour is satisfactory and 2. (most importantly) hair health/integrity is maintained - which has always been the case with her.
