My first visit to 1280 8th Ave., suite 300, was going exceptionally well. The front desk staff was very nice and fast checking me in. I was called back to be seen pretty quick. The nurse that asked me the new patient history information and did my vitals was thourough and very nice and professional. Then, Dr. Phan came in. At first, she was nice and seemed to be interested in helping me get the care I needed, but then as we were talking about the care I needed, she began to become overly deterrant to keep me from seeing an orthopedic specialist / surgeon. She began telling me that surgeons dont do this and surgeons dont do that. I asked her why she was being so negative and trying to squash any hope i had for treatment. So, I asked her, "what are you doing?" She said "This isnt going to work out is it?" She got up and said she is cancelling the appt and walked out. I have been sitting here for 3 hours waiting to talk to an Office Manager. All I needed was a referral to an Orthopedic Specialist / Surgeon.

Dr. Phan and her nurse assistant, Gisselle, are an amazing team! They both took the time to listen and treated me with genuine care. Their empathy, patience, and attentiveness truly stood out. I left feeling very impressed and incredibly happy with my visit. I’d been searching for a new provider, and I’m so grateful to have found such a great one. Thank you, Dr. Phan, for caring for your patients like a true professional with a compassionate heart. Highly recommended!

I can’t stress enough how amazing Dr Phan and her team are! Dr Phan, Tate, and Giselle are amazing at what they do. They make you feel heard and cared for. Going to the Dr has become a very pleasant experience, they take the time to listen to you and take care of your needs. Highly recommend them.

Dr. Phan was validating and attentive to my concerns. I was immediately welcomed by Giselle and relieved to have all of my concerns heard and recorded. Both were gentle and compassionate in their approach. The entire staff was understanding and quick to offer accommodations to help me access care as an uninsured person. I’ve been avoidant of establishing care for several years due to past negative experiences and uncertainty about how to navigate care without insurance. Those worries were quickly put to rest. I’m working on getting insurance now but would not hesitate to return before that happens after such a positive experience.

Awesome experience I was assisted by Tate and Dr, I changed PCP to this office and I’ve always been scared to go into office visits due to previous trauma. Tate made the visit very smooth and enjoyable. She connected with me and made sure I was comfortable by the end of visit, I knew her daughters birthday was the same as mine and she had the same as my older sisters birthday she was super nice and sweet. The previous doctor’s office the staff and dr were never friendly and made me dread going to my visits. I’m not a very talkative person however the visit ran very smooth Dr Houng made sure to listen to my concerns and was very nice. 😊 Glad I made the choice to start going to this office they look happy to help people.
