I consider myself fairly self-sufficient and computer savvy, but navigating the vast amount of Medicare information—from community seminars and websites to advertising mailers—was overwhelming. I was able to narrow down some of the information on my own, but I still had many questions about the differences between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage, as well as the impact on my wife’s insurance coverage since she would not be eligible for Medicare until next year. I finally reached out to Jessica and provided her with our healthcare requirements and questions. Within a few days of meeting with her, she presented several options for both me and my wife. She also helped me enroll for a Medicare ID number so I would be prepared once I made my selection. While we were waiting for my ID number, Jessica continued answering all of our questions and made sure we understood our options. Once it was time to enroll, she guided us through the forms and submissions and kept us updated throughout the approval process. She even helped cancel our previous health insurance so we would not overpay. The rest of the process went very smoothly.
