Japan Spa( professional reflexology & body massage)

My husband and I wanted to get massages because he has been dealing with a lot of muscle tension from work. We called the same day to make a reservation and were told they were not busy. We said we would arrive in about 30 minutes. We ended up arriving about 10 minutes later than planned, but it hadn’t even been 30 minutes yet. During that short time they called us three separate times asking if we were really coming. That was the first red flag!! When we arrived, the place looked outdated and unprofessional. Instead of feeling like a proper spa, it felt more like one of those tourist massage shops. The biggest surprise was that it’s called Japan Spa, but there was absolutely nothing Japanese about it. Everyone working there appeared to be Chinese, and they spoke almost no English. Communication during a two-hour massage was frustrating. I always ask for very deep pressure, but this was beyond deep tissue. It honestly felt like they were trying to crush my body. Even after asking them to ease up, it barely changed. My husband requested medium pressure from the beginning and had the same experience. The biggest issue came at the end. We each paid $125 for a two-hour massage. Then they told us we needed to leave a $30 tip per person. It wasn’t presented as a suggestion. It felt mandatory. We ended up paying $60 in cash for tips because they pressured us into it. A tip is supposed to be voluntary and based on the quality of service. It should never feel like a required fee. The worst part was what happened afterward. We went there hoping to relax, but both of us were in pain for the next two days. We each had to take ibuprofen twice because our bodies hurt so much after the massage. Spending over $300 to leave feeling worse than when we arrived is unbelievable. This was one of the worst massage experiences we’ve ever had. Overpriced, unprofessional, and completely ruined by the pressure for tips. Save yourself the time, the pain, and the money. There are much better massage places in Las Vegas.

In Southwest Las Vegas, I recently tried Japan Foot Spa. I tried their 30 minute Foot Detox and 75 minutes Combo Full Body Massage which includes hot stones & back scrub. From my experience, it was the Best Massage I've had in Vegas. They got rid of knots throughout my body. I almost fell asleep because it felt so relaxing. The Foot Detox was helpful & much needed. I will definitely be back again. I highly recommend Japan Foot Spa.

Exceptional deep tissue massage! They worked out so much tension and tightness in my back and neck, using just the right amount of pressure. I left feeling so much better. Great service and an amazing value!
