Just have to give another shoutout to Japanese Auto Repair… this guy is the BEST! My gf’s AC (been turning on and off lately) went out in her Toyota Corolla at 4pm… so I called my man and he said come on. As I’m following her, she calls me and says, “I just hit a bump and my AC is back on” 💀… So we arrive at the shop and her AC is working perfectly, so we can’t test it… BUT wait, there’s more… Just so happens my AC recently went out on my car — 2012 Honda Civic with 350K miles — so I asked him if I could just drop MY car off instead… My man says pull it up here, then tests, diagnoses, AND fixes my Honda’s AC on the spot right in front of me!!!!! … After 5pm and they closed at 6pm… If this isn’t the BEST service on planet Earth and the most gangster mechanic in DFW, then I don’t know what else to say ❤️ This dude is the GOAT, and his pricing is always a blessing from God 🙏 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ yet again for Japanese Auto Repair! Do not sleep on the best-kept secret in DFW! I’ve told all my friends, but until you experience the service for yourself, it can’t be put into words. You just don’t get this level of care nowadays… but he delivers.

I recommend you come here first. I was looking for new mechanic and I came in for leaking power steering fluid issue. I was worried I would have to replace power steering pump, but he told me that wasn't necessary- only needed to replace the lines that had some damage. He also resolved the leak on the V-tech gasket which I recently paid another mechanic to replace (they didn't). The pricing was more than fair- generous. The repair was done same day. Very courteous and kind. They made a customer for life.

Brought in my 93 year old grandma’s 2012 Mazda 3 hatchback for an A/C issue (warm air on the driver side, slightly cooler but still warm on the passenger side). Dropped the car off at 5:30 PM, and by 8:00 AM the next morning, they had already diagnosed the issue, called me with a quote, and got my approval to start the work. They replaced the faulty part and recharged the system… all by that same morning. It’s been working perfectly ever since. He did such a great job on her car that I brought in my girlfriend’s 2016 Toyota Corolla the very next day for new rotors and brake pads all around. Dropped it off at 3 PM and got a call by 5 PM that it was ready. The brakes felt phenomenal… smooth, responsive, and quiet. I didn’t even have to break them in… and they feel just perfect. Excellent work at a great price. I’m bringing in a 2012 Honda Civic next… I knew the moment I walked in and met him that I could trust him. Our family has a new mechanic now.
