Stopped by Jewel Box Café for a small cold brew and found exactly what I was looking for—a great cup of coffee and a relaxing place to slow down for a while. Ordering was quick and seamless using the self-service tablet, making the entire process efficient without sacrificing quality. Even without much staff interaction, everything worked smoothly and the experience felt effortless. The cold brew was smooth, refreshing, and well crafted. What really elevated the visit, though, was the outdoor patio. Sitting outside with a coffee, taking in the fresh air and the energy of the waterfront, made it easy to linger a little longer than planned. Jewel Box Café strikes a great balance between convenience and quality. Whether you’re looking to grab a coffee on the go or spend a few quiet minutes enjoying the surroundings, it’s a place I’d happily return to.

Jewel Box Coffee is a gem on Tacoma’s waterfront and an easy place to recommend. The location alone makes it worth the visit, with beautiful views that create a relaxing atmosphere whether you’re starting your morning or taking a break during the day. The café has a warm, inviting feel with a cozy space that fits perfectly with the waterfront setting. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy your drink, and take in the scenery. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and it was excellent. The espresso was smooth and flavorful, the vanilla wasn’t overly sweet, and everything was well balanced. It was refreshing and exactly what I was hoping for. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick, making the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. Between the quality coffee, welcoming atmosphere, and unbeatable waterfront location, Jewel Box Coffee is definitely worth stopping by. I’ll gladly be back the next time I’m in the area.

The food and interior of this cafe are wonderful, it's a gorgeous place. However they blast loud pop music, scream customers names out, you order and pay on a tablet. It's the opposite of the kind of atmosphere that should come with such a cafe. I couldn't leave fast enough.

The coffee tasted like it came out of a keurig. I ordered an 8 oz marble coffee with coconut milk for dine in on their tablet. it was served in a paper cup. The victorian decor is cool

They offered a varied selection of drinks. It was so hard to choose! The interior decor was quite charming and elegant.🍹☕️🫖🧋✨️
