Aylin is the most competent hairdresser I've ever had. My curly hair has never looked this good. She did exactly what I wanted. I genuinely look exactly like my inspiration pictures and I couldn't be happier! 10/10 curly cut :)

giving this salon 2 stars cause the stylist and employees were sweet and i really did like my hair by the end of the session, however they greatly lack in communication. I had previously seen stylists at kalumo advertise cheap curly cuts on tiktok/ig if done by a beginner stylist and was even told to book “wash/cut/curls” in order to get that service. booked for $35 and was told at the end that i owed $99 because beginners aren’t allowed to do curly cuts. said that the service i booked was for curls made by using a curling iron, which is fine, but i really wish they would’ve clarified with me at the beginning so i could’ve just declined the service. if that service isnt a thing, they shouldn’t be advertising it. when i showed my inspo pics and showed up with obviously curly hair, neither the front desk nor the 2 stylists ever said that anything, just changed the price last second. a simple “hey it looks like you’re wanting a curly cut which will actually be $99 today, would you like to continue ?” would’ve gone a long way.

Zero stars is what this place deserves. I had an appointment scheduled for my daughter at 11:00 AM at the Spring location, but after arriving on time, I waited until 11:30 AM and no one ever showed up. The salon appeared to be unattended/door locked, and I received no communication regarding any delay, cancellation, or closure for the day. Extremely unprofessional. While waiting, I repeatedly called the salon's main Pasadena number SEVERAL times and never received an answer. I also sent a text message and submitted an inquiry through the salon's website, but received no response from either. What is most frustrating is not just the missed appointment, but the complete lack of communication and customer service. If a business cannot honor scheduled appointments, the least they can do is notify customers and respond to phone calls or messages. I wasted 30 minutes waiting and additional time trying to get in touch with someone, only to be completely ignored. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this salon and will not be returning EVER.

I booked the full service and I couldn’t be happier with the results! A huge thank you to Monse for her amazing work, and to the entire team for being so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you can really tell they care about their clients. I’ll definitely be coming back here for all of my hair appointments from now on highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love this Salon! I got my service done with Monse and she’s great! She was so attentive to detail and listened to all my requests. She made our long Saturday of full color be seamless. The environment of all the workers here is great the sisterhood is very obvious and I appreciate that. Makes me feel comfortable with the girlies :)
