Karat Gold

Brought 4 watches here to be cleaned and batteries changed. Two of them had wrist bands changed also. Both wrist bands installed incorrectly. They also cracked of of them which only took longer. I've been back here 4 separate times and the last two times I was here right at 10am. They opened late and I had to wait for another 30 mins only to get the wrong installation again. The picture below shows clearly the band is not flush with the actual watch. Both times they hoped I would not notice. This time I will never come back. You would think after so many chances they would correct the issue. Dishonest place. If the bands do not fit don't install them and inform me about it. Simple common courtesy. They also don't clean the watches even though I was told multiple times they did. "Here's your dirty watch back with an incorrect band."

Came here to repair my simple gold bracelet, they initially told me it would be $35. I came back a few weeks later, and after struggling to take a knot that it had (did not have it prior) we found that it was not fixed (the lady apparently did not know) she then told me the price would have to go up to $65 (the bracelet was only about $120). We said sure and went back about 2 weeks later. As i was eager and exited to finally have my bracelet back I tried to put it on but found that it did not even fit my wrist anymore (the bracelet was quite loose before). I was going back and fourth with this lady telling her how It was loose before and now it cannot even wrap around my wrist, and she was insisting i was wrong but had no explanation on how it “magically got smaller”.I then realized that the part that had to be fixed (i still have it) was not even there anymore. She was arguing back and fourth saying they “didn’t touch that part of the bracelet”. I even have pictures of how the bracelet fit before and I could add pictures to the review as well. This is just unbelievable as I have bought from this shop before. Never coming back, service was bad as well, lady was rude.

I wish I could give 0 star for this place. Horrible customer service. Took my watches for battery replacement he said 15 minutes to come back. After 20 minutes WHEN I COME BACK he is working on some one else staff and said my watches are not ready. If u can't do the job on time don't promise customers. thank goodness you mom taught you at least to wish good day to ur customers. DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! RUDE AND UGLY ATTITUDE 😤.

I went into this place to have a band changed. She said you can’t replace an old Spiedel band with a leather strap. She doesn’t have a clue about watches. She messed up the original box and display case I have for my vintage Swiss watch. This is a place to avoid. Only in business since they are in H-E-B.

I left gold jewelry with them to be fixed and they lost it!!! I am so disappointed and upset, now they won't answer the phone. I work for attorneys and will be taking legal action.
