La Clinica Dental at Children's Hospital

If I could give 0 stars I would. The quality of care is very low. They over schedule and therefore can’t provide an appointment to align with the dentist time line therefore you get scheduled months out. Then if you fail to answer or return their call they just give away your appointment that’s been scheduled already past the dentist recommendation and then their response is to schedule me 2 more months out. By the time they get you in your kids teeth would have rotted away this now causing the need for more treatment possible for more money in their pockets. Shady.

I absolutely hate this place for my child and any other child. The receptionist are horrible. Calling to schedule an appointment is a joke. On hold for 30mins. They don't schedule routine cleanings. I don't recommend anyone bring there children here

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but my experience at la clinic was absolutely unacceptable. The front desk was chaotic, I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment with no communication, and when I finally saw the dentist, they rushed through everything like I was just another number on a checklist. The worst part? The shady billing. I was quoted one price and charged something entirely different, with no clear breakdown. The lack of transparency is outrageous. I can only imagine how much money they’re milking out of Medi-Cal by pushing patients through like cattle and billing for whatever they can get away with. This place doesn’t feel like a clinic it feels like a scam operation disguised as a dental office. I will never be back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values honesty, professionalism, or basic human decency. People like you should be sent to the front lines.

I’ve been coming to La Clinica Dental at Children’s Hospital from far away because the doctors are great, but unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. The receptionists are rude, unhelpful, and don’t seem to care at all about the clinic’s reputation or losing patients. An hour ago today, I was 10 minutes late for my daughter’s appointment, and instead of being understanding, they told me I had to reschedule or wait for an hour. I explained to them that I came from far away and that my daughter even missed school today just to make it to this appointment. Despite all that, they showed no concern. I also told them I had to pick up my other kids, but they just didn’t care. Their lack of compassion and flexibility was so frustrating that I ended up canceling all of my kids’ appointments. To make things worse, they didn’t seem to mind at all. All my sisters’ kids and friends also go to this clinic, but after my experience, we’re all considering leaving. It’s such a shame because the doctors are amazing, but they’re being overshadowed by the unprofessional and careless reception staff. If they don’t improve their customer service, they’re going to keep losing loyal patients like us.

I am disappointed with this experience and would appreciate clarification about why the appointment was canceled without notice.
