I would like to share my experience with LAM'S Complete Auto Repair so that others can make an informed decision. I own a 2003 Ford F-150 that had a steering wheel vibration when reaching 50 mph. In addition, whenever I drove over cracks or bumps at that speed, the truck would lose stability and pull from side to side. Because I work every day as a house painter and did not have time to take the truck in myself, my wife brought it to the shop. They called me and asked what the problem was, and I clearly explained that the truck became difficult to control at 50 mph. I asked them to inspect the entire suspension and steering system and let me know what needed to be repaired. After their inspection, they informed me that several steering components and the right front wheel bearing needed to be replaced. They also charged me $150 for the diagnosis, although I was told that fee would be applied toward the repair if they performed the work. They initially gave me an estimate of $1,130. After some negotiation, we agreed on $1,000 cash. Although I felt it was expensive, I accepted because I believed they would thoroughly inspect and repair everything necessary to solve the problem. The truck was returned to me the same day. For the first few days, I only drove it around my neighborhood, where the roads are in good condition. However, I noticed some noise and slight friction, which I assumed might be normal after the repair. The following week, I had to travel to The Woodlands for work. While driving on the highway, I realized the truck was not fixed. It had more friction, more noise coming from the right side, and felt even less stable than before the repair. On June 4, I decided to take a day off work and return to the shop to request a solution. I explained that the original problem had not been corrected and that the truck was actually worse than when I first brought it in. One of the mechanics test-drove the vehicle and acknowledged that he could hear an unusual noise. However, when I spoke with the person in charge, I was told that they would need to inspect the truck again and that I would have to pay an additional $80. I disagreed because the repair was less than 15 days old, and I have a receipt stating that the labor is covered by a 6-month warranty. Because I refused to pay additional money, I was not provided with any solution to the problem. This was my personal experience. If you are considering taking your vehicle to this shop, I recommend asking detailed questions about how they handle warranties and follow-up inspections after repairs.

I took my car in to have my bumper replaced and the quarter panel fixed. Zach and his wife very nice and honest. Took it in on Tuesday and was ready Friday afternoon. My car looks amazing! They did an awesome job. He even helped me price wise. I recommend Lam’s. Staff very nice and courteous.

Got my transmission replaced on my Chevy Silverado. I got electrical work done on my Tahoe I used to be a mechanic myself, but now I don’t have time and the energy to do it myself. They did a wonderful job. I love the honesty and everything black-and-white the diagnose my vehicle the correct way and got the work done and give me a excellent price they are very honest professional and I love it very very punctual the timeframe they gave me they got the work done less than that time they gave me a great warranty, love the new owners.
