Two family members have already got their green cards and we have received approval for one employee and waiting for the other. I am not someone who usually leaves reviews, especially negative ones, but I feel it is my responsibility to warn others about my experience with this lawyer. I hired him to handle my immigration case. At first, he appeared responsive and knowledgeable. He prepared and submitted the paperwork on time, but several serious issues followed: He gave my wife and me legal advice that nearly led to my case being denied. He failed to carefully review the forms before submitting them to USCIS. During the interview, when the immigration officer asked why I had not answered a question correctly on my I-485 form, I explained that I did not fully understand the question (English is not my first language). To my shock, Ali then stated, “I didn’t understand this question either.” It is unbelievable that an immigration attorney practicing in the U.S. cannot understand basic questions on the I-485 form. Once his mistakes became evident, he stopped answering my calls and emails. As a result of his negligence, I am now facing serious legal problems. He presents himself as confident and knowledgeable, which initially earned my wife’s and my trust, but my experience proved he is highly incompetent. Unfortunately, he seems to care only about collecting fees, not about his clients’ future—even if that means the risk of denial or deportation. Be careful.

One of the most unhelpful lawyers I’ve ever dealt with. He took my money and got nothing done. Despite all the promises, he didn’t follow through once payment was made. He doesn’t seem to specialize in any particular area of law and appears to take any case just to make money, without considering the client’s situation. Save yourself the trouble — take your business elsewhere. You’re honestly better off without this lawyer.
