Over the course of her involvement, which lasted more than a year, I observed a pattern of inconsistencies, lack of follow-through, and a noticeable focus on billing practices rather than the best interests of the child. Jessica often made commitments—both to me and, more importantly, to my child—that she simply did not honor. When questioned about these changes or contradictions, I was often met with vague responses, deflection, or complete avoidance. One of the most troubling aspects was how frequently money appeared to be her primary concern. She frequently cited her reduced rate from the county as a reason for withdrawing from the case when things didn’t unfold the way she had anticipated. Her invoices included charges for trivial tasks like “downloading documents,” and while the county covered many of these costs, I still found the billing excessive and ethically questionable. Like Shannon, I was left with a child who had unanswered questions and was understandably confused by the promises that weren’t kept. The impact of that kind of inconsistency from a person who is supposed to be their advocate can’t be overstated. I strongly encourage anyone assigned Jessica Huey as minors’ counsel to proceed with caution. In my opinion, her representation lacked transparency and genuine commitment to the child’s well-being. Audrey is an amazing lawyer. She was so resourceful and quick in helping us completing an amicable dissolution of marriage. All the other lawyers were either not knowledgeable or they were sketchy. Total SCAM! My experience with Audrey and this company was a complete disaster. After just one initial meeting where we signed a contract, Audrey handed me a packet of paperwork to fill out. She assured me that I wouldn't have to start making monthly payments until I turned in the completed packet. Due to financial difficulties both before and after the pandemic, I was unable to afford the payments, so I never submitted the packet. I never had any further communication with a lawyer, only one conversation with a receptionist to inquire why I was being billed when I hadn't submitted the packet. The receptionist put my account on hold at that time. Fast forward to December, and I decided to terminate my agreement because I couldn't envision going through with the process at the moment. Of course, I didn't expect a full refund of the $3000 I had paid, but when they informed me that they could only return $1000, it felt incredibly unjust and unethical. This situation felt especially wrong and corrupt because they hadn't initiated any work on my case, lacked the necessary information from the packet to begin the process, and had kept my case on hold. No progress had been made whatsoever. It's clear that something fishy is going on here.

Were I a betting man, I would say that the negative reviews below are clients that weren't totally upfront with their lawyers or just didn't listen to their lawyers good advice. I had a stellar experience with this firm. I can say with fire in my soul, these lawyers, the legal assistants, and everyone tied to this law firm are the best money I’ve ever spent. They aren’t the cheapest lawyers around, but you get what you pay for with lawyers. Do you want someone to tell you what you want to hear and take your money? Or do you want an honest law team that can accomplish your goals and gets you the best possible outcome? Listen, I was a soldier by trade, a paratrooper, airborne infantry. I think I’m reasonably well qualified to say who is a warrior and who is not. Audrey and her team will speak softly and with respect toward you. However, on the day of court, you have a whole group of professional warriors riding into battle alongside you. They won’t return until every shot is fired and every inch of ground you desire is won. These people are rockstars, standing center stage, and they’re worth far more than what I paid them. You should hire them before they realize their worth and move south to represent Hollywood stars.
