I had such an amazing experience with Navy! She was incredibly precise and thorough with my natural curly cut! You can tell she truly understands curls and takes her time to shape them perfectly. She explained every step of the process so clearly, which made me feel confident and informed the entire appointment. Most importantly, she made me feel so comfortable having my curls in her hands. As someone who doesn’t trust just anyone with my hair, that meant everything. On top of her skill, her personality is absolutely amazing, warm, welcoming, and she’s so easy to talk to. I left feeling beautiful, confident, and genuinely cared for. I can’t recommend her enough and I will definitely be back for my next curly cut! 💕

I accidentally booked the wrong appointment type for the color service I wanted, but everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating in getting what I wanted figured out. Since I had booked the wrong service, I ended up getting a hair treatment and styling instead, and I left feeling confident and my hair was super soft. The staff were not only professional but felt genuine. I’ve been trying to reclaim my feminine side, and walking into traditionally women’s spaces can still feel very intimidating for me. Instead of feeling out of place, I felt normal and comfortable here. Their kindness felt genuine, and that meant more than they probably realize. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful appointment into such a positive experience. I’ll definitely be coming back for the coloring! 💇🏼‍♀️👩🏼‍🦱💁🏼‍♀️

Great stylists and conversationalists! I was nervous to be back in a salon after over a decade cutting my own hair, but the staff and Nadia put me at ease. Her professionalism and personality really made the experience for me. She also did an amazing job on my curly hair and took direction, feedback and questions well! Nadya’s hair hygiene knowledge and technique is absolutely one of the best ive seen in haircutting for brown folks’ curly haircutting and styling. Their attention to detail, hospitality and recommendations is immaculate! Definitely one of Left Coast’s biggest assets. Appreciate you so much queen!!!

New hair, who dissss?!!!! Such a great experience! I had no idea my hair was capable of doing the magic that Navy performed. I walked in with my usual hair and somehow left feeling like it had a whole new personality. Navy was friendly, funny, and so easy to talk to — it honestly felt more like catching up with a friend than sitting through a hair appointment. I really appreciated how she explained the products she was using and gave me helpful tips on how to style my hair at home (which my hair definitely needs help with). You can tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about her clients. I left feeling refreshed, educated, and loving my hair way more than when I walked in. Highly recommend!
