Extremely happy with Leroy and will share what I posted on Yelp below! Leroy is the best!!! He was my savior this year as the company I used before raised their price almost 50%. A special friend referred me to Leroy and I'm extremely impressed! I text Leroy and within minutes he responded with an appointment. He sent me a short list of things he needed from me day of appointment, so that everything will run smoothly. Good news is that I am my own advocate when having my taxes done, I made sure I brought Leroy everything he asked for on the list. I am the only one who can make sure my taxes are done right if I bring "ALL" my necessary documents day of the appointment. He explained he had several appointments that day so I made sure I arrived on time. I text him when I arrived and he asked me to meet him at the front door where he had a chair and clip board. He introduced himself and asked for all my documents and verified had everything. I was very pleased he practiced social distancing and was also immaculate. I decided to wait in my car for his text. Shockingly within fifteen minutes he was done! I walked back to the front door and he gave me a folder with my tax return, SUPER ORGANIZED! He showed me the dollar amount return, I paid him and was very pleased!!! Leroy is incredibly professional and does an excellent job; he is quick, efficient and has good sense of humor. He thanked me for being organized bringing all necessary things he needed to do a thorough job. I already recommended him to all my friends and family and many are going to use Leroy Chen Tax Service next year! If I could give Leroy 100 stars I would. Thank you Leroy for an amazing experience!

I read the reviews that Leroy did great in personal taxes and appeared to be legit for good return. After setting an appointment and arrived he declined my school expenses which I've had returned in the past. Only reason we gave Leroy a chance was because our usual tax person did not do them this year. We asked Leroy why my wife and I filing jointly received so little and his response was, "Because we live in California." This was a learning a experience for us and received small amount. Keep in mind San Diego is not expensive enough as a part time student.

We've been going to Leroy since 2017, my original tax lady passed away. I personally have been happy with all the services I've received. He explains and asking questions as he is entering all my documents while we are talking and laughing. He very professional of his job, we had a rough patch one year and had to amend our tax forms but it was quick and painless.... I've been reading other reviews and as for my experience having someone file tax returns is not an easy job you must be very aware of all tax laws and he's up to date with new requirements! I've introduced my son and colleague into his business and they passed the word around and they've been pleased with his service. You must have all your proper tax forms and he can guide you what's needed. His price is VERY reasonable and when you call(which texting is much faster)you get a response within MINUTES!
