Loan Factory - We Dare You to Compare

I have worked with LoanFactory multiple times for both my primary residence and an investment property, but my recent experience with loan officer Tien was very disappointing. Although he handled my previous loan and refinance, I found the overall process lacked transparency. Key costs—such as appraisal fees and credit check fees—were not clearly explained upfront. In mortgage transactions, honesty and full disclosure are essential, and I did not feel those standards were met. I also had concerns about how interest rates were presented. After locking in a rate, I noticed inconsistencies when comparing with rates available online. It did not seem that he was proactively working to secure or recommend the most competitive rate unless I specifically questioned it. Additionally, he shared a video explaining a “no closing cost” refinance, but the explanation failed to clearly address how increased interest or long-term accumulated interest would impact the total cost of the loan. This raised concerns about the quality and completeness of the financial guidance provided. Communication and professionalism were also lacking. I did not feel respected as a customer, and there were instances where commitments were not followed through. Fee structures and finance charges were not clearly disclosed, which further added to my frustration. Overall, I am not satisfied with this experience and would not recommend working with him. I was even asked to leave a 5-star review, which I cannot in good conscience do. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve transparency and customer service.

Norah Pham has helper me with my 2 transactions. She was dedicated, thorough, and communicated with us every step of the way. The first transaction had some hiccups, not her fault, from both escrow and lender sides. We didn’t close on time but the 2nd one was seamless. We closed the second one today on time. Sharon and Sam from loan factory were simply awesome throughout the whole loan refinancing process and was able to close my loan in mere 10 days. Yes, you heard it right - 10 days. Right from the beginning, Sharon was determined to lock me with the right rate and she was able to. My existing rate was way too high and Sharon helped me reduce my monthly payment by ~$500. She has a breadth of experience that she leverages meticulously to satisfy individual client needs. On the other hand, Sam processes each loan with an intention to approve it.
