Lux Nails & Spa

This is the second time I get GelX. I was supposed to get them at a lower rate since I “would only be replacing them” yet I was charged as if it was the first time getting them done. They stated it was only applicable if I had gone back two weeks later…Anywho the color I selected is a sheer color but never had an issue until today (see pictures) they only did two coats and my hands full of glue even after I asked and said there was glue on my hands. And then my pedicure I asked for a two colors, for a base and a shimmer, the lady said “no it’s weird”. Not sure what happened today but I wasn’t pleased by their service. Mind you this is only Gel polish.

I've been going to Lux Nails 💅 for three months, and I'm completely obsessed with this nail shop! Tina is absolutely amazing; she's so incredibly sweet and always makes me feel welcome 🤗. My nails are always perfect, and I get so many compliments on them. I can't recommend Lux Nails enough if you're looking for a new nail salon! It's my go-to spot for some self-care and pampering 💆‍♀️. I highly recommend it!

I had my nails done yesterday at Lux. I asked for acrylics with tips and gel. I requested a long , thin square oval shape with a pink buff polish, #1213. I don't know the name of the girl who did my nails. But this is NOT what I requested. My nails look like thick duckbill that are readying to lift off my finger. There is nothing good to say about them. As the tech started to apply #1213, it was apparent that colour was beige and not pink, as it appeared on the sample card. When I questioned it , no-one could answer me, just stared. Finally my tech went and grabbed a pink color from her coworker. I am so disappointed in my nails. I've been for pedicures before and they were great. This young tech i was sat with appears to maybe be an apprentice? Regardless, she shouldn't be doing acrylics.

Wow! What a great place! Such a better atmosphere and staff than the large chain salons around here, the prices are reasonable too! I will definitely be back to try their CBD pedicures next!

DO NOT GO HERE. Yes it looks pretty on the inside and they seem like they know what they’re doing, but they don’t. My mom went for her Mother’s Day set and was extremely DISAPPOINTED with how her nails came out. This was supposed to be a nice little gift for Mother’s Day and it was ruined by the male nail tech that did her nails. The tech didn’t even check to make sure the whole nail was covered with the color. There’s gaps as you can see in the pictures. My mom tried to talk to the owner but the staff wouldn’t listen. It seems they could not understand what she was saying as they kept answering “yes, yes” but the manager or owner never spoke to her. It was really frustrating and my mom needed someone to listen. The lady who offered to fix it wanted to seat my mom next to the the man who ruined her set in the first place. That would have been really uncomfortable. This location is so busy and they rush through their sets. I went there a few years ago and the lady who did my nails made my bleed and still proceeded to put nail polish on my nail while I was bleeding from my cuticle, and then closed the polish and put it right back where it was. How unsanitary is that. I guess things never change here. It seems their staff really needs to be retrained and taught proper customer service. We really wanted our mom to have a nice experience, especially because of Mother’s Day. They ruined it and did not care. My mom will never go back there and I will make sure to tell my family and friends to STAY AWAY!!
