The restaurant had a truly pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, making the dining experience enjoyable from the moment I arrived. The food was delicious, flavorful, and clearly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff were friendly, polite, and courteous, which added to the overall positive experience. I tried the Chiang Mai Noodles with Shrimp, and it was an excellent choice—rich in flavor, well-balanced, and satisfying. The shrimp tasted fresh, and the noodles were perfectly complemented by the dish’s seasoning and texture. I also had the house-pressed sugar cane juice, which was refreshing, naturally sweet, and a perfect pairing with the meal. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience with great food, fresh ingredients, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a flavorful and enjoyable meal.

Had a wonderful experience at Malai Kitchen! The food was fresh, DELICIOUS, a great spot for lunch or dinner. A special shoutout to Kimberly. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Honestly, she should be called Queen-berly! We’ll definitely be back!

Malai Kitchen knows what they are doing. I had a delightful lunch and cocktail at the Luther Ln location. I was able to eat on the air conditioned covered patio. Loved it. I started things off with a signature cocktail called the Malaysian Martini. It was sweet yet tart. It is made of Aperol, pineapple, two different rums, mint, passion fruit, and lime. These are not my go to flavors for a beverage. However, I wanted to try something different. I liked it but I didn’t love it. Next up was the Thai Tacos with Pork appetizer. I appreciated the presentation. It was colorful and picture worthy. The shell was very fresh and just the right amount of crispness. The pork was tender and moist. All of the flavors came together harmoniously. I would order those again. The main attraction was the Pad Woo Sen. I really enjoyed it. It is made of chicken, glass noodles, carrots, egg, green onion, bell peppers, egg, cilantro, hydroponic bean sprouts, and cherry tomatoes in a garlic sauce . One word sums it up and that word is DELICIOUS. The portion sizes of the entrees were generous. I will definitely be back to try more things on the menu. For starters I'm a big Dr. Pepper fan. And believe it or not, a lot of places don't get it right. But, it was really good here. The drunken noodles were amazing! I ordered medium heat, and it had just enough heat. The meat melted in my mouth, the tenderness and seasoning were just right. My son ordered the curry bowl. He let me taste it and I was second guessing my order choice. Wow this was even better. Can't go wrong must try restaurant so glad we found this gem. I will be back!

This is going to be a long post so let me get to the point. Definitely go try this amazing place. My first encounter with Malai was at the Food and Wine festival in the arboretum. I am not a fan of lamb but my sister was raving about the lamb confit so I tried it. Little did I know I was talking to 1 of the co-founders. She explained that slow cooking it takes away the gamy taste that is off-putting to me. The flavors were warm and inviting and the crunch of the crispy roti finished the bite perfectly. I was so impressed we went to the restaurant for lunch the following day. As you can see from the pictures we tried a variety of dishes and ALL of them tasted amazing. The portions are generous and so is the pricing. I have never been impressed by a taco before but that Thai pork taco was everything! So tiny yet packed with flavor. And a pickled bean sprout!?! That was a first for me, it added a subtle tanginess and extra layer to the already amazing texture. 1000/10 drinks were great also. Now for the service. Haley was new but so polite and delightful. The other workers at the time also stopped by to check in on us multiple times. 👍👍 Finally the decor/ambiance. I enjoyed every thought and detail put into the decor. There were warm colors and different textures even on the ceiling. The photo wall headed to the bathroom transports you to Vietnam with the most beautiful imagery. It was warm and inviting and sleek. Great job! Now for the down side. That is that I live in Florida and can't enjoy it more frequently 😭. If you made it this far, remember don't forget to try the lamb and go eat already!
