I first worked with Mandy in 2014 on a three-day Indian wedding at the Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa, and have had the privilege and pleasure of working with her on numerous weddings in the years since. Mandy Scott is, without question, one of the most well-respected planners and designers in the San Francisco Bay Area—and for good reason. As a wedding photographer, the moment I see Mandy's name on a wedding, it instantly becomes one I'm looking forward to that season. First and foremost, she values the client experience above all else. I can't count the number of times a couple has gushed about feeling like guests at their own wedding. Her attention to detail and depth of experience keep the entire day running smoothly—and if something happens outside of her control that could cause friction, you'd never know it. She has a calming presence and a welcoming smile, and every time I work with her, I know it's going to be a great day for everyone involved. For photographers and vendors alike, she makes sure we have the time and information we need to do our best work, and she treats us with genuine respect and care. I'm also lucky to count Mandy as a friend in the industry, so working together rarely feels like work. Her design and vision are impeccable—elegant and visually stunning—and I can't say enough good things about her work or her organization. If you value experience, expertise, and a detailed approach to an incredible wedding, you don't need to look any further than Mandy Scott.

Working with Mandy for the past year has been an absolute pleasure! From the start, she was very responsive and we clicked right away. About a year out from the wedding we started meeting on a bi-weekly basis, this planning schedule along with her top notch organization skills led to a seamless planning experience up to the wedding. Mandy took care of everything and kept us schedule and in our budget range. The day of the wedding her associate and Mandy were on site early that day and took care of all aspects of setup and take down, and all the nitty gritty details in between. At the end of the day, she was a dream to work with and my husband and I miss our weekly meeting with Mandy!

Absolutely the best experience possible! Mandy helped us plan and replan (twice) our 2020 wedding, and it ended up being the best wedding we could have imagined! She was so on top of the schedule, the vendors, and all the details - we didn't have to worry about anything that day. I would recommend her to anyone getting married.

I chose Mandy Scott Events for my San Francisco winter wedding after reading rave reviews online. Throughout the year of wedding planning, Mandy was responsive, organized and knowledgeable. Wedding planning was stressful for me (as I am a little bit of a control freak) and I had a very clear vision of what I wanted. To top it off, I have a large family and cultural traditions that I needed to incorporate. Mandy understood my vision and accommodated every strange/challenging request I had. She made me feel at ease about my anxieties and I felt comfortable relinquishing control to her. Something that did not go unnoticed was how respectful she was of the budget. She always sent vendor options in various price ranges and offered alternatives when my demands ran a little expensive haha. She tracked budget very carefully so I didn't have to worry about that. I also utilized her team for floral arrangements and they were AMAZING. Every floral detail was beyond my expectations and they completed the whole ambiance of the event. What touched me most though, was how amazing she was on the wedding weekend. She made me feel like a guest at my own wedding so I didn't have one thing to worry about. She picked up my dress from the bridal shop, she made sure the wedding license made it to the church, and the timeline of the day was adhered to flawlessly. Alex on her team took care of my older relatives making sure they got to various locations safely, other team members brought various goods I left behind to the wedding venue for me, etc. I was the least stressed bride on my wedding day because of Mandy and her team! My husband and I could not be more grateful for her help and it was truly the most perfect event. 10/10 would recommend Mandy to anyone!

Besides actually getting married, hiring Mandy was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. She was a constant source of calm, and we trusted her completely before, during, and after our wedding. Mandy’s extensive knowledge and experience put us immediately at ease. She guided us through every decision at the right time and connected us with vendors who perfectly matched our style. Every one of them was fantastic. It’s clear she is highly respected in the industry, and everyone loves working with her. She is both kind and professional. We looked forward to our meetings, and now we miss them! Mandy balanced listening to our vision with offering helpful recommendations, keeping us focused whenever we got overwhelmed. She continues relationships with clients long after the weddings, which speaks to who she is as both a planner and a person. We would talk about how much we loved working with Mandy so much that our guests were so excited to meet her on the day of our wedding! Mandy is a master of timelines and executed our day flawlessly—down to the minute. Because she handled the logistics so well, we were able to focus solely on enjoying the day. She is trustworthy, proactive, meticulous, and always honest. She remembered every detail that mattered to us, and our reception looked more beautiful than we ever imagined. The day was perfect because of her. We cannot recommend Mandy enough. She is truly the BEST!
