Caitlyn did an exceptional job on my hair! In fact, I’m writing this review 14 weeks after my appointment, and just last week someone asked if I had just gotten my hair done. That says it all right there. She really listened to what I wanted while also giving honest recommendations about what would be healthiest for my hair and help it grow. She took her time to make sure everything was done right, but we also had such fun conversations the entire time I was in her chair. She has such a bright, welcoming personality and kept me entertained the whole appointment, which was definitely a bonus. I’ll absolutely be coming back and would highly recommend Caitlyn!

After recently moving to Dallas, I was looking for a new hairstylist and I’m so glad I found Heather! She made me feel comfortable right away and took the time to really understand my hair goals. I originally went in just to move up my extensions and do my routine highlights, but Heather showed me some other extension options and we found a WAY better color match for my hair! I was shocked at how much better they looked with my skin tone and how seamlessly they blended with my natural hair (how had I been missing out on this for so long)?! I’m on a healthier hair journey, and Heather had great recommendations. We went with a lived-in color that enhanced my natural tones and is lower maintenance, which means healthier hair (no more bleaching every appointment!). I love my new look, and the entire appointment was so fun. Can’t wait for my next visit!

I loved every second I spent at Mane Collective! All the girls there appeared so kind and talkative. Loved that! My hairstylist Ella Perkins did a FABULOUS job! 🫶🏻 Probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met. I love how patient and honest she was with my hair and my results. When I first got to the salon I had very low hopes because of my 1-year-old box dye but shockingly my hair lifted so well. I was amazed by the beautiful results! 🥺 My hair is pretty thick so it did take a few hours to finish but in the end it was worth the time and effort! Beauty takes time, haha. 🙂‍↕️ If you’re looking for someone who does a full balayage or full highlights very well, Ella Perkins is the person you’re looking for! It was definitely a 10/10 experience for me at Mane Collective. I’m 100% coming back! 😊

I came to Kiki to get my hair colored and left extremely unhappy with the color, even before I left I told the front desk girl could I contact her to fix it bc I didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings after just getting it done. I also was charged a blowout fee when I was initially told it was included. I’ll attach a photo of the color and the awful “blowout” that was done. I loved the stylist as a person but I did not feel comfortable going back to her because I’m confident she could not fix it. I was adamant about staying blonde and being bright. I did not like her inspo pics it’s the exact opposite of what I ever want done so I followed up with what I wanted as inspo. As we were blow drying I just knew it was bad. The lowlights were uneven and blotchy (they should’ve been teased) I then told myself okay I’ll go home and play around with it wash it restyle etc. Went two days and called back to see if I could go to someone else, the girl at the front was like yes I can schedule you with the same stylist, we want you to be happy, I then told her I don’t want the same stylist, I liked her but I cannot risk her making it worse. She then tells me of course let me see what we can do, can you email me pictures of my hair and my inspo….I then receive a text saying it’s policy to go to the same stylist for a complimentary fix. My thing is from what I’m used to if it’s bad they wouldn’t even want you going to the same stylist after seeing the hair. You have to be completely blind or ignorantly oblivious to not see the issue. I was told it would be an additional cost to see someone else. I then just said wow okay I will never come back to a place like this. This is what I get for trusting a new salon. I’m more upset with the customer service and lack of care when it comes to proof of bad hair color. The vibe I get here is everyone is a Independent stylist (like booth rental kind of vibe instead of a salon that works together) and the services are subpar in compare to the nicer salons in Dallas. Whoever sent me a passive text with horrible resolution, please do better. If I could give 0 stars I would. (Hair I got vs hair inspo I wanted)
