I used to live in Seattle, but I don’t live there anymore. I first went to this salon about two years ago when I was visiting family, and I loved my experience. They cut and styled my hair, and it looked beautiful. This time, I went back before my trip to Italy, and Edwin took care of my hair. When I say he did an AMAZING job, I truly mean it! He didn’t just cut or style my hair—he made it look like something straight out of a movie. I genuinely wish my hair looked like that every single day! I received so many compliments on my hair during my trip. And the best part? I went to Rome during a heat wave with crazy humidity, and my hair still looked beautiful for TWO DAYS! I traveled on a 12–13 hour flight, spent two days in Rome, and my hair was still holding up. Whatever Edwin did, I need to know because I wish I could recreate it myself! Thank you so much, Edwin, for making my hair look absolutely amazing. You’re an incredible hairstylist, and I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m in Seattle. Also, I’m so sorry for posting this review so late! You definitely deserved it. ❤️
I had such a great experience at Meraki Hair Studio! Edwin did my hair, and he was quick, thorough, and really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. I’m so happy with how my hair turned out! I would definitely recommend Edwin and Meraki Hair Salon to anyone looking for a great hairdresser in the Renton area. I’ll definitely be coming back! ✨
I sat in Catalina’s chair all day, less than 24 hours after arriving in Seattle from my home in France. I had read reviews and I had ascertained that she and Edwin were, like me, of Latino descent. I wanted someone to color my hair that had experience with “Mexican” hair. I was not disappointed. I have been blond for several years now. I stopped coloring my hair once, about 7 years ago, and let my natural salt and pepper grow out. I looked old and worn out. So I went back to having it highlighted with varying results. Now that I am 70 and live in France, I am motivated again to go grey. Every chic woman over 50 in France has grey hair. However, I knew I needed an excellent stylist to help me transition. I chose the right studio. Catalina, listened to me. She stopped along the process and continued to make sure that we were on the same page. Edwin helped and Edwin ended up giving me the exact haircut that I requested. I brought a photo and he was incredibly true to that image. I am immensely satisfied with my hair color and cut. I will be back in the United States in November and I know exactly who I am going to for my hair. Thank you Catalina and Edwin for your fantastic work.
i got my hair done for the first time here, they were able to take me in as a walk in and did such an amazing job! such precise work and my hair turned out so good, i got so many compliments! definitely recommend
Needed somewhere to cut and donate my hair and found this nice little studio to do it. I called Catalina and she made an appointment for me with no hassle. Danny took care of me and gave me a nice haircut after. He was really nice and knew what to do. He put my hair in little sections as you can see in the photos and cut each one. That's how they send it out.
