Đăng nhập để đánh giáI really enjoyed my visit to Mirakuru. The milky Vietnamese coffee I got was actually pretty strong, which I like. I got the weekday special for $4 and the awesome thing is that foams aren't extra for the special. I tried the sweet corn foam and it paired nicely with the coffee as a subtle sweetness. The interior is bright and airy, and the whole place smells like a fragrant floral jasmine. They were playing studio Ghibli piano music when I came in. I'd definitely come back for their other drinks! I love that they open at 8am, which is earlier than a lot of boba/milk tea places around.
The atmosphere is very calm. Very good for getting work done. There are some outlets. Vietnamese coffee is very good. I got with banana foam which was fine. The banana flavor is noticeable but not overwhelming so I thought that was good. I have also tried it with the cookies and cream foam which gave the coffee more of a chocolate flavor overall when mixed. The jello dessert is also very good. I got the mango and it was very refreshing, light, cold.
Okay I have a huge issue with this place Because I let them know twice I don’t mind them charging me extra but not put ice in my cup, they refused and told me this is the policy, i asked who sets it, they said the owner. so what’s that stupid policy you Mr. owner are you setting for me to get my drink halfway done? their service is not kind too. I am talking to robots they didn’t try to accommodate for me at all. so congratulations on having the worst customer service 👏 FYI the place smells awful and has a strong scent so if u r someone with sinus/ allergies you won’t be able to breathe
1 star. Very poor customer service. I asked if the matcha foam could be adjusted, but both the staff and the owner immediately said no without even trying to help or offer alternatives. As a first-time customer, I also didn’t know which type of matcha to choose, and instead of explaining the options or recommending something, they just stared at me awkwardly. The whole experience felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable. Definitely not the level of service I expected.
UPDATE: THEY CHANGED!!! Different proportion, 8 oz less but same price. Ive been a loyal customer to the point where I always drove 30 minutes just to get their Mirakuru signature Matcha. But just two months after I left a 5 star review with the picture you can see here (it is a 24 oz cup), now the same drink has only half the milk, making it a 16 oz drink, while the price is still the same. TBH I really prefer you raise the price if that's the reason but DONT change the recipe!! Why you change the recipe!!! It tastes different now!!! I moved to the east coast two months ago and Mirakuru was the first place I wanted to go when I visited CA again this week, however this disappointment truly made me feel betrayed. You changed the recipe, you make the drink 1/3 less than before, and keep the same price.
