It was my first time visiting Nails of New York today and I enjoyed every minute! staff was friendly and I felt relaxed the entire time. They gave me exactly what I wanted and I left the salon with a smile on my face! I had Leslie for my pedicure and Ryan for my manicure and both were lovely! I will definitely come back! Thank you!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Nails of New York! From the moment we walked in, everyone was welcoming and professional. The salon was clean, relaxing, and had a great atmosphere. The staff took their time and paid attention to every detail. Our manicure and pedicure turned out beautifully, and we were both very happy with the results. We never felt rushed, and the customer service was excellent throughout our visit. If you’re looking for a clean salon with friendly staff and quality work, we highly recommend Nails of New York. We will definitely be coming back!

The first picture is what I asked for- the second is what I got- the third is what they “fixed” I had a very disappointing experience at Nails of New York today and felt compelled to leave an honest review. I used to come here years ago when they first opened and initially had good experiences. Unfortunately, the quality declined back then, which led me to stop going altogether. After about three years, I decided to give them another chance because of the convenience—it’s right around the corner from my home. Today, I came in for a pedicure and a full set and requested a very basic American manicure. I not only explained what I wanted, but I also showed a reference photo multiple times to avoid any confusion. While my nails were being done, I pointed out that one nail (the middle finger on my right hand) was crooked and clearly needed to be removed and reapplied to be straight. The technician insisted on filing it instead, wasting time trying to prove it could be fixed that way—only to eventually remove and redo it anyway, exactly as I had originally said. What really frustrated me was that when he finished, he completely skipped one of the defining steps of an American manicure: the off-white tip. He wiped my hands, said thank you, and walked away—despite the photo being shown several times. When the owner/front desk staff asked if I was happy, I told her I wasn’t and explained why. She acknowledged that the nails did not match what I asked for and offered to have the same technician fix them. At that point, I declined because he had already shown he wasn’t listening and seemed rushed. I was told I could come back another time, but I just wanted to pay and leave. After thinking it over, I returned shortly after and allowed a different technician to try to fix them, since I didn’t feel I should have to pay another salon to correct their mistake. She did improve them somewhat, but they were still not exactly what I had requested. At that point, I was willing to accept it just to move on. However, to add insult to injury, I was then charged an additional $10 to fix what was clearly the salon’s original mistake. Between the lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and charging extra to correct their own error, the customer service was extremely disappointing. This experience reminded me exactly why I stopped coming here in the first place. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this salon
