NAILS & SPA ON 56

First time visit from Europe and I can say I am generally happy. The salon is very clean, with a great atmosphere. I walked in and was quickly attended to. I will say, some of their prices are very high. The pedicure cost $35 (gel polish) which is good as it came with cuticle care, trimming, shaping, hot towel and lotion/massage. I had the sweetest lady who handled my pedi with so much care. Really pleased with her service. I asked for french manicure and it cost $73. Really expensive. I asked for a natural colour for my french. The lady started off great, but wanted to do one coat. I asked her to do 2coats instead as I thought the price was too high just for one coat. She was visibly annoyed and told me it wont be her fault if it turns out pink. I am not sure why she was annoyed as I am the client but it made the appointment sour for a bit. She then noticed my disappointment, and later tried to be nice and asking if I was happy with my nails and colour and started trying to make small chat. She honestly did a competent job, and I knew I would still have the shade I wanted with 2 coats. I wish she didn’t get annoyed and throw attitude. That is not how you treat clientele and we have the right to voice concerns and ask for what we would like. Overall, I am satisfied with my nails. But the incident with the nail tech ruined it for me. I would go back for pedicure but not manicure.

I was early for an appointment in Carmel Valley near San Diego, CA & decided to have my nails done. Amanda is great and they did an amazing job. Walk ins are welcomed. They also provide waxing everything including chest, back, Brazilian, under arms, and bikini. I watched an amazing cooking show. The spa tubs are very glam! See pictures! The spa is upscale, very clean, and takes Visa and MasterCard. Average pricing for gel mani and reg pedicure. I highly recommend them so if you are visiting and are unsure where to go for quick nail care Nails & Spa on 56 is a great choice. 💗💅

Recently renovated and I love everything about the place. Wendy & her team of kind, thorough and creative nail techs, keep me happy. The location is so convenient and the space is friendly and inviting. I've been a very pleased fan since the discovering the first location in 2015. I have recommended Nails & Spa on 56 to so many friends and clients and everyone feels the same. Wendy is the Best!!!

Went in a peasant, they turned me into a princess! Seriously, I’m so happy with my nails. The lovely nail artist that took care of me was very patient and taught me all about gel and dip powder nails. I chose dip powder, wanted something simple and clear and she delivered beautifully. Will be back in a few weeks, ladies!

I had a great experience this afternoon. I haven’t visited a nail salon in what feels like 10 years, and this experience helped me realize how much I have missed it. We called earlier in the day to see if they’d have an afternoon slot available. When we arrived, we only waited 5-10 mins. The business was very clean and organized. I had a deluxe pedicure and regular manicure done. I enjoyed and loved both. The little things also matter so much like small talk and one of the nail specialist (I can’t remember her name but she was wearing a black shirt with tan/brown flowers) brought me a pillow to hold up the book I was reading. Lisa, was also very kind and really good at what she does. She also took time to explain the benefits of gel nail polish, which now I will try the next time I visit. Thank you!
